Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just perfect is how i'd describe the Eagles Guest House. As soon as you pull onto the drive you know you are not going to be disappointed. An explosion of colour, beautiful flowers and decoration. we chose a larger, family room with kingsize bed, single bed and large walk in shower. (even though it was just the 2 of us) This room was at the side of the main house with its own front door, bistro set just outside to sit in the sun. Our room was light and airy, spotlessly clean and attention to detail was very apparent. We had everything we needed and more besides. The complimentary shower products were of excellent quality and a real treat. Plenty of room, amazing comfortable bed and lovely crisp bed linen and plush quality pillows.
Breakfast in the main house, a very good choice, my husband had a full english and the locally sourced Lincolnshire sausages and bacon were to die for. I had a lovely fruit selection of melon, blueberries and peaches followed by perfect poached eggs on granary toast, delicious! washed down with fresh juices and plenty of coffee.
Heather is a fantastic host, warm and friendly, addressing us by our first names which is a lovely welcoming touch.
The Eagles Guest House is ideally located just a few minutes from the main ring road/Lincoln City Centre.
Great value for money, we opted for the early check in, which was only a £5 supplement and a great option to offer as we were meeting friends for lunch.

This Guest House is superb, spotlessly clean and well sanitized due to the corona virus, which is in the UK at present. Every care was taken.
The bedrooms are well decorated and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable.
I can recommend the full English Breakfast and the products used were high quality and good portion size.
The Hosts are warm and welcoming, also very kind and helpful, nothing is too much trouble if they can help they will.
I have given them a 5 which they richly deserve.

This has got to be one of the best B&Bs I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly and attentive, they really made feel as I was being looked after. My double bed en suite room was so comfortable and cosy. All the facilities were clean. I can’t find any faults. I will definitely stay here again
Thank you

A fantastic welcome making my daughter and I feel very welcome. The rooms are clean, warm and the bed is incredibly comfortable. I was very impressed with the eco friendliness of the property from the rain water system to the wood pellet burning boiler. The breakfast was delightful and I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

A very friendly welcoming guest house.
The only downside for us were; the room was extremely cold and coming from the south we felt the cold even more, by the time the radiators came on full blast, the central heating went off and we ended up having to sleep in our jumpers.
The shower could do with having a longer shower mat as the cubicle was extremely slippery where the mat didn’t reach.
I personally felt that, 930am check out was a bit too early considering check in is at 3pm.
Despite these, WiFi was good and breakfast was okay.

Thanks for your review, Just notice that if you leave the room with the bathroom light on, the EXTRACTOR FAN throw out 75M3 if you are in the biggest bedroom of the building (1 or 6) the fan throw out once and a half every hour. At that pace we can provide as much we can ( we Can we benefit from RHI and the cost of our heating bill is close to £200 a YEAR!) your room will never be warm. We are so familiar with those negligence from our customers that a page about this is in our guest info folder with other disregarded information. Sufficient heat is provided, enough not throw it out!

Our short stay at The Eagles Guest House on a short visit to Lincoln provided everything we need. The room was as described and the breakfasts were well presented and as ordered the previous night. Although on a busy road we were at the back and didn't find noise being any issue. The accommodation is well presented and the hosts are attentive to detail. If we ever returned to Lincoln would consider staying again

Cannot recommend this venue too highly. Travelling repeatedly to Lincoln for a new job I've stayed in hotels but the Eagles is streets ahead. Cheaper, quieter, spotless with the kindest and most accommodating hosts possible. Although on a busy road the excellent double glazing ensures a perfect night and the standards of hygiene and customer care are beyond belief. And I'm not even a relative.

Our two night stay at Eagles Guest House was excellent. From the time we arrived to the moment we left Heather was really attentive and looked after us very well. The spacious room was spotless and lots of extra creature comforts were included. The super breakfast cooked by Eric was delicous and comprised of several locally sorced products which made all the difference. We would certainly use them again if we were in the area

I’ve recently stopped at the eagles guest house for two weeks while working in the area. I work away a lot and stop in many places and this is up there with the best and most home from home place I’ve stayed at. I was made to feel very welcome the rooms and house are spotless and with the present pandemic on is vital. The breakfast is beautifully prepared and nothing is to much trouble a real 5 star experience. If work takes me back to this area i will look forward to stopping at the eagle guest house. I can’t recommend enough.

Stopped on a saturday evening, as we were at a friends 50th party. Owners are very welcoming and extremely helpful. We wanted to spend sometime in Lincoln earlier in the day and Heather advised which bus to catch, where the bus stop was and how often they run! Accommodation is top notch, clean, smart and well appointed. My girlfriend enjoyed a full english breakfast, whilst I had the gluten free version. Both were superb!! A guest house we would not hesitate to recommend and happily use again. Many thanks Heather and Erick :-)
