Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have stayed at The Loudor for several years now and always found it a great place to stay. It has plenty of parking and is very convenient for The Forum shopping centre across the road and Lincoln is only a short bus ride away. The bedrooms are always clean and tidy with lovely showers and the staff are friendly and helpful. The highlight of the stay is always the breakfast served by the robot waiter. It is only a 10 minute walk from the local pub, The Centurion and 15 minutes from our old school!

Was working in the Lincoln area and found the Loudor and stayed for a few nights, really impressed by the quality for the reasonable price. Rooms spotlessly clean, fantastic breakfast and real friendly staff. So much better than the generic chain hotels, can’t recommend highly enough.

Do not stay here it’s horrendous the owners are not bothered the way they treat you there’s a bell in the front foyer to ring should you need them but they don’t hear it didn’t even bother to meet you when you arrive at the property no paperwork to fill in either so if there’s a fire or anything happens they break every rule going charged £84 for a double room and this is what we had to deal with they are aware of this aswell but not prepared to do anything about it You will not get away with ripping people off and letting people off the street smoke weed within your hostel and also keep making noises throughout the night keeping everyone up and fearing for their lives that they had to barricade the door incase they was broken into scared to death you are out of order putting someone next to us like that knowing full well what he was like as when I mentioned it in the morning to the girl who bought milk she asked if I was ok and I replied would you be I’ve been awake all night due to him next door and her words was OH NO NOT AGAIN IL TELL WENDY so you’re aware of his actions ect And when you approached us in the breakfast area you was rude and abrupt and wasn’t interested when I said about what had happened I’ve also reported you to booking.com as you should not be trading as surely your guests are your bread and butter there was other guests who approached us and said they heard all of the banging and shouting to so not just us have tried recently to contact hostel whoops I mean hotel to try and resolve this but will not talk to us or to booking.com I will not leave this as I feel this was a present away for my wedding anniversary which turned out a NIGHTMARE

Clean comfy room and bed. Made to feel welcome on our late arrival. Pre book breakfast choice night before . Wasn't sure if we could change minds following morning. Only slight fault was the coffee wasn't hot enough. All food brought to us by a robot. Ample parking.

Our original hotel in Lincoln was double booked so had to look for an alternative. What a nice surprise it was, treated like vips, from start to finish, very friendly proprietor, she was always smiling, lovely staff. Room was immaculate so clean and comfortable, beds amazingly comfy. Breakfast was ordered the night before, and was tasty and efficiently prepared and delivered by "Peanuts" the motorised robot, it took us completely by surprise, and made our stay even more memorable. Had a nice cosy, homey feel and will definitely be returning next time we have a mini break in Lincoln.

A friendly family run B&B. The rooms covers all basic needs and are comfortable and clean. The mini fridge and fan were a welcomed aditionto the room and both were very useful over a warm weekend. The breakfast was good but we were dissapointed that there were no hash browns or the serve yourself pre-breakfast buffet table was no longer in place ( presumably since covid ). 'Penut' was an unexpected novelty over breakfast and a good talking point. The only negativtive point is that the stair and hall carpets could use a deep clean freshen up. The B&B is in a good location for visiting the city and there are local amenities ( mini tesco, Asda, Lidl,.post office ect ) in walking distance Overall a pleasent stay and good value for money.

Super friendly staff, great rooms, just how people can say they didn't adhere to covid regs is beyond me as it was excellent in that regard. The breakfast robot was a bit of a surprise I'll be back next time i'm in Lincoln. 10/10

The Loudor was easy to find and with good sized off road parking. We had a warm welcome and our room was lovely, very clean. Location is about a 20 minute bus journey and a taxi is about £10. It’s right over the road from a shopping park including a Tesco metro. We had great advise on how to get to town and where to get the bus from and Lincoln’s beautiful and historic centre didn’t disappoint! Breakfast was lovely I really enjoyed the Lincolnshire sausages, all the items on the breakfast were good quality and the service was swift and friendly Will defiantly stay here again next time we visit Lincoln, thank you
