I have used this hotel as a "base" to visit the area. Not much time was spent in the room. Staff is great, rooms need a bit of an upgrade. However they are very big and clean. Breakfast is fairly basic but does the job. The hotel has a swimming pool too, which i have only discovered on the last...

We stayed at this hotel after being slap bang in the middle of Patong for a week so it was a welcome relief for it be peaceful. We arrived at 11am and our room was ready which is a massive bonus. The room is big, bright and airy. There are lots of trees outside your balcony which block the hotels...

Just stayed here for 3 nights and had a family room with two huge queen beds. The rooms have seen better days as has the hotel however for a 3* its more than adequate and comfortable. Its well placed up a road 150 metres from the main drag in Ao Nang and quiet at night. The staff there are very...

We had a good, relaxing stay in early January in spite of the negatives noted below. The description on their website is not quite accurate, as most of the decor feels quite old and in need of a refresh. Here are the pluses and minuses from our perspective: Positives: Great breakfast, with made to order omelettes, fresh fruit (pineapple, bananas...

We were glad to pick up an Agoda deal for the Royal Nakara. The discounted price more accurately reflects the value. Despite a clean, beautiful (but small) pool that serves as a terraced fountain, the hotel is not quite luxury. Staff were courteous and helpful, making eggs to order at breakfast (their only meal) and honestly explaining the timing off...

The hotel was pathetic. There was nobody to listen to us. There was a dumb guy sitting at the reception who did not understand english at all. When we requested him to give us some tea or coffee he didn't understand at first but when we tried to explain him then he said everything is closed. This happened around 9...

The good: - Service is really good. All the staff are very helpful. - The room we got in floor 6 was great. It was huge with a nice terrace and nice view. The bad: - The pool is hidden between two big walls with no view at all - Location is not very good. I would recommend staying closer...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Ten mins walk from the beach and market. Ambience lobby - simple yet elegant Breakfast - Excellent Terrace where the breakfast is served but the breakfast is very ok, nothing to rave about. Since I'm a vegetarian all I could eat is cereals, fruits and tea/coffee. No other options. Could definitely add a few options...

Excellent value for money can't fault it We got the top room with a great view. Ao nang beach isn't the best beach in krabi but it's...
