This place is great for a weekend get-away. Beautiful walk along the ocean over eroding cliffs. So relaxing to listen to the ocean cascade over the rocks. Obviously a great surf spot and entertaining sandy beach to watch the surfers having the time of their lives. There aren't too many rules in Mexico, but 2 to follow here = Don't...

Our family had been visiting Mexico for years but stopped about 7 years ago because of the bad press about the dangers of crossing the border. We decided to go back this summer and stay at Las Gaviotas again. What a wonderful surprise. Crossing the border from San Diego was a breeze. The signage was good and the toll road...

Beautiful view of the ocean! We've visited twice so far and the first time, we stayed in an ocean front property, I believe it was called Casa de Mama. However, the whole community is in walking distance to the water. Very safe gated community with pool, jacuzzi and community center. Mostly populated by American vacationers. Rocky shoreline with cliffs and...

We came here on a slow weekend after spring break and had a great time. The community was extremely well kept. The walk along the beach was beautiful. Rosarito and Puerto Nuevo were both short drives from Las Gaviotas. Can't wait to visit again!

Was able to rent a large, three story place for my extended family to stay during Spring Break (VRBO). The place is phenominal. Security is tight, but friendly. Pool and small, private beach are walking distance. Taco vendor on during the weekend at the pool. Beautiful sunsets over the ocean from our patio. I have caught myself daydreaming of the...

Our friends invited us to stay at family-owned home at this property for a long weekend. Though we live just across the border in San Diego, it felt like we were on an exotic vacation somewhere far away. The views of the ocean are sweeping and gorgeous. We spent one day on the rocky beach relaxing and investigating tide pools...

Just returned home from spending a few days at Las Gaviotas. The community of spanish style homes has about 300 properties, some owners live there and some are rentals. Absolutely loved this place and will definitely return when it's a bit warmer. It is about a 15min drive away from Rosarito town so you don't get the activities like horses,...

Exceptional visit to Rosarito Mexico. Very safe and secure location. Small privately owned rental residential rental community right on the beach. The views were spectacular the sunsets were just fantastic. I would highly recommend anyone, to stay at this resort when they go to Baja Mexico. We will definitely return to this location.

I was skeptical after reading a review on here regarding a specific rental. The property is absolutely beautiful, and beats staying at any hotel in Rosarito. Quiet community, great for surfing, just a really wonderful place to stay with family. There is a surf shop just up the road to rent surf boards. We were with another family that has...
