My wife and I and another couple drove down to San Felipe to scout RV parks. We stayed two nights. What a dump. Believe the reviews. It is always a major hassle to go to Mexico and spend hours in a traffic jam to get back across the border, but to arrive at a typical Mexican garbage dump/town is always...

The hotel is clearly old, with maintenance being iffy. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillows were akin to a brick. That aside, the location is magnificent. Right on the beach and convenient to an OXXO and the road to Puertocitos. If you're in town to veg and not party, this is a great spot.

It really makes you think the hotel or some rooms are right on the sand, that is not the case at all. The first row of rooms in any picture are owned villas that can be rented through the owners. The room are okay and have what they advertise and I would say this is the best hotel in San...

We stayed at the resort many years ago and wanted the same feeling. I LOVE the property so much. However, it is not what it was. The people are great, the workers are friendly, but the rooms need some TLC. I rented a suite with two rooms for $300.00 US dollars per night. It looks gorgeous but many issues inside....

Sink in bathroom does not drain. Water in shower is Luke warm at best. Shampoo dispenser is broken. Internet is the slowest I have ever experienced. Simple web pages take 10 to 15 minutes to load, if they load at all. Text emails (without attachment) take five minutes to send. Heater is extremely loud. And this is what it is...

We stayed here on our way south to bahia de los angeles (except for 22 miles of dirt, the road is way better than highway 1 from TJ via san quentin) Big room with big bathroom but a bit out-dated (as is much of baja is...) very clean with a very nice staff at reception. They do close at 11...

We arrived after a 5 hour drive, and weren't treated with much kindness and warmth. The room provided was not up to our expectations, and we had issues with WiFi and freezing AC we could not control. But management intervened after we communicated these issues to them, and Gilberto Hernandez relocated us to a great room with everything we wanted...

This was our second time staying at the San Felipe Marina Resort and Spa. The first time was in November, and we nearly froze. They brought in a space heater, but it was barely enough. This time we stayed in mid September. It was hot, but not overwhelmingly. Unfortunately the AC went off around 2:00 am, but, thankfully, went on...

We stopped in to check the Marina Resort, and see if it would work for our family. We were shown a standard room with 1 king size bed ($119/night) and a suite with small kitchenette ($190/night). Neither room was worth the cost per night. The resort needed a good update, as did the rooms. They didn't offer cribs of any...
