Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel is nice, but it lacks of maintenance is evident, the pool has a huge maintenance deficit, my 18 months daughter even had a rash because of the pool's water. The service is really good, the people is really kind, is the best of the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location in a nice good area near of everything in the Manzanillo Turistic Corredor. The beach is great and clean. The hotel is clean but is clear that maintenance is poor, specially on the pool area, bathrooms and kitchen. The service in the pool is really Bad, really show and the food is not good. Breakfast is fair, but you paid so much for the poor food quality and service. Do not eat there. Camino real is a good mexican hotel chain but in this case, service and maintenance is poor. You can expect a fair value

I booked the Jr suite for 3 nights through booking.com The location is probably the best in Manzanillo area. It is direct at the beach, within walking distance from many shops / Restaurants and enough distance from the coastal highway. The rooms are like a small apartment except for a kitchinette. Though you can use the 'mini-bar' fridge for your own goods bought at the Wallmart around the corner. There is a seperate bedroom, a nice bathroom (no bath tub, shower only) and a spacey 'livingroom' with balcony. My seaview was a bit obstructed by all the palm trees but they also gave my balcony a good shadow. The rooms are very clean. The pool is absolutely fantastic; free beds and towels available. Staff is very helpfull and friendly. I used the restaurant only for (a la carte)

I spent a wonderful three days there with my partner. The staff is courteous and extremely helpful. The view is great, and the hotel is right on the beach. It's a sort walk to town. There is a little gym and spa, if you want to spend time there. The wifi didn't work in my room, although there was a router in there. I had to walk to the lobby to use it, which was fine by me; but if that matters to you, now you know. The room was small, but very nice with a well-stocked mini-fridge. Had a great time at a great place.

This hotel sits right on the beach close to lots of things. Our family stayed 3 days unfortunately the beach had a red flag every day, but from what we were told the beach in Manzanillo usually always has rough waves. The hotel pros close to many stores, restaurants, clean, free wi-fi, decent pool, not the cleanest at least during our stay. They will loan you towels for the beach. One of the better hotels in Manzanillo. Cons at night depending where your room is the waves could be somewhat of noise issue.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was nice and very responsive. My wife needed a blanket and within 10 minutes one was at the door. We had a great view on the 2nd floor. The hotel is in a great location with a nice beach, Wal-Mart right down the street. There are lots of restaurants close to the hotel as well. The price was reasonable @ $1840.00 pesos per night. The hotel has 2 big pools, 2 small pools for kids and 2 jacuzzi's which didn't work. The pools have algae in them. They need to figure out a better pool maintenance to get rid of the algae. Lots of buses are in the area for those of you who don't mind take them for a very reasonable price.

The hotel is nice but very simple. The room furniture are old. The location is good. Breakfast is poor. The gym is very basic. The price is ok. There is a nice pool, not small. The hotel is in the shore line!

We were upgrading our electrical system in our condo and needed to get away from the mess. Since we live on the beach, we thought we would try the Camino Real. The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful. I checked online prices, but when I called the hotel, their price was $600 pesos cheaper per night than online. The hotel has a couple of swimming pools and 2 wading pools. The restaurant La Huerta has an indoor air conditioned dining room as well as poolside tables that overlook the Manzanillo Bay. Food and service were very good. Food prices are a bit higher than local restaurants, but the view and convenience make the slight up charge tolerable. Our only staff complaint was our maid, on the second and third nights our towels and coffee were not replenished. We had to

We stayed in room 1013 overlooking pool, beach....in a junior suite during Carnival 2016 and we slept great as no all night drinking fiestas like you find in the all inclusive hotels. Compared to Las Hadas....we prefer the tranquility of Camino Real...and the short walk to Starbucks, and VIPS. The hotel sliding door was a bit rough out to our taxiing patio but the management was quick to respond. Fabian the concierge is very helpful and we hope to return for thanksgiving 2016 with 10 couples from Lakeside, CHAPALA.

We stayed at this hotel in late December. The location is number one, right on the ocean. Pool area was clean with good access to the beach. We had problems at check in with our room - right above the speakers for a posada being held the first night. We finally got the check in staff to move us. Outdated room with incorrect information as to the contents of the mini bar. In the end we paid as we didn't want the cleaning staff to be charged with the incidental items. Staff members extremely friendly and helpful. Would I stay again, probably not as there were other facilities in the same price range.
