I always enjoy staying here when I visit Mazatlan. It seems to have a warmth that makes you feel at home. The staff is helpful, the rooms kept clean. If you stay in a room with a kitchen, you'll appreciate the ample assortment of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, cutlery and dishes. A beautiful pool area too! The first picture is...

Costa de Ora is an older resort but we like older. Everything works fine, every room has a beautiful ocean view, and all staff are friendly & hard working. We have returned here annually for 20 years.

The hotel may need a bit of updating, but you can't beat the view from the balcony. The staff was friendly and receptive to requests. They have a currency exchange inside the hotel and there are banks across the street. We had drinks at the poolside restaurant (Happy Hour is from 1 to 2pm) and ate at the Adobe restaurant....

Never rent chairs nor tents in front of the ocean they are thieves. Once you go to the ocean going down stairs in Costa de oro they rent chairs and tents, they even have the famous "banana" Never rent chair nor tents because they will take your money and rip you off and treaten to call the police on you....

We have stayed in other Mexican resort areas and payed much more for big disappointment. The Costa, to us, is a great family or large group destination in Mexico. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Other places we have been in Acapulco the staff was working for management only and the guests were "in the way". Mazatlan has much to...

The Costa de Oro is a wonderful place to stay in Mazatlan. As previous reviews stated it is older, and this is evident. However, it is kept very clean. All of the staff at the Costa are helpful and friendly, which contributes to the high rating. The staff at the pool are outstanding, especially 'Lucy', goes above and beyond to...

9 of us went there for dinner. The ocean front setting of this restaurant is beautiful! A variety of dishes were ordered, of which the quality was average. The service was not very good. Meals were not brought out at the same time, and 2 people didn't get meals at all until it was brought to the waiter's attention. They...

We just returned from three weeks at the Costa de Oro and it was wonderful. We hadn't visited for more than 15 years, and now we wonder why! It was a great trip. Check-in was quick and easy. We had reserved a junior suite in the newer tower that was very nice, but palm trees blocked the view over the...
