This is an older property. I believe it was built in 1981. Don't let this stop you from staying here. It is meticulously maintained with work being done daily to keep everything fresh and in good shape. The staff is super friendly and eager to take care of even the slightest

Are you pet friendly or only service animals? Gracias
I do not believe the hotel is pet friendly, but I could be wrong. However, I saw no pets at the hotel during my stay. In addition, I am not sure about the disibility laws in Mexico that would allow service dogs. I know the laws there are very different than in the USA. I recommend calling the hotel and speaking to someone there to verify the policy on bringing pets.

Which rooms have tub and which ones only shower?
There are 2 bathrooms in many suites. Ours had 1 tiled tub/shower and one shower. Our friends had 2 showers. Ask at the desk when you arrive.

What room types have refrigerators? Is there a kids pool?
I actually don't remember a refrigerator call or email them I don't reccomend this resort for kids - adults and a lot of nightlife on property not kid appropriate

Definitely use taxis. We reserved a shuttle, paid in advance, and they didn't show.

From what I remember, the hotel is configured so that every room has an ocean view. As far as getting away from the bar, I second Charles' advice. Ask for a room on the north side facing toward the walkway to downtown.

"Ask for a room on the opposite side from the nightclub....unless you enjoy loud music"
"Unless you enjoy loud music late at night, ask for a room away from the nightclub"
"king room was smaller and did not have balcony."
"Although the rooms by the ocean have a lovely view, one must be willing to put up with the loud music at night."
"Room 704 is pretty small, ask for some other location."
