The rooms are nice and clean and the cleaning staff are great. The staff at the bars are great also. Where I notice a big difference is the grounds keeping and restaurants. The pool was not cleaned enough. The hot tub was either too cold...More
This is my 7th or 8th trip to PB-Emerald Bay and it's on a downhill slide. The weather rates a Three by itself. The occupancy has decreased each year of my stays and it's no surprise if you expect five-star service and amenities. The only...More

We love this place but there isn't much to do there for kids that we could see. Kelly's bar is a drinking establishment with good entertainment but not children oriented. Other than the pools, the beach and maybe tennis depending on their ages, I really don't think there are other activities that children would be interested in.

The food is expensive...similar pricing to a good restaurant at home. IMO it is very over priced for mostly OK food. People who go there regularly buy groceries at a nearby tienda & do a portion of their meals that way. The booze is expensive and sub-standard ... they nickel and dime you on here.
