This hotel was average for the amount that we paid for it. We paid 400 pesos for 2 nights. the room was average size, the bed was pretty uncomfortable and the bathroom was a bit grubby. the staff there were very friendly and there was the added bonus of a pool in the garden

Let me start off by saying that we are Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (15 years ago) and were traveling with our two young daughters (7 and 8) We (and they) are pretty game for "roughing it". We had just come from Guadalajara so it was nice to get out of the CITY and into *real* Mexico. the hotel is only 2 blocks from the central plaza, the hour was late, we were tired and it's only $30/night for a full and 2 twins. The room was o.k. at first glance, so we took it. The full bed was made with a twin sheet turned the wrong way, so the result was a "short sheet" feeling. Also, the sheets felt clammy. The beds themselves were plank hard and all springs. The bathroom had running water but all the tiles were mildewed. We only planned on being in SB for 2 days, so moving hotels was more trouble than it was worth. We stayed a second night.
