This February our group of four took a quick trip to Guadalajara just to get the feel of the place. Our stay at the Hotel Morales was fantastic. Our rooms were a great size and nicely appointed. It is right in the heart of all the old vintage buildings and historical sites. There sitting and lounging areas had some of...

Spent four nights here in March 2014.. Hotel is very attractive, built around interior courtyard with four floors. Restaurant with live piano music during the breakfast hours. Nice pool on the fourth floor with some sitting areas and a small gym. Roof terrace on the fifth floor with some okay views of Guadalajara and some good sitting areas. Room was...

We stayed for 8 days at Hotel Morales and as we unfortunately do not speak Spanish, I credit it for making our entire stay in Guadalajara very enjoyable. All the employees are very accommodating and helpful from beginning to end. The location is excellent to everything one might want to see and do. Through the hotel the Concierge even contacted...

This is a very well run hotel with an outstanding staff. I stayed for 10 days and everyone from the bellmen to the front desk were consistently helpful and pleasant. English is spoken, but they will also let you try out your Spanish if you like too. As in all things with this hotel, they are ready to work with...

If you like historical hotels, this should be your choice in Guadalajara. My room was perfect and the hotel is itself a work of art. The staff is incredibly attentive and eager to please. WiFi worked great in my room. The concierge was especially helpful in making recommendations for dinner and transportation. I highly recommend it to someone who enjoys...

We moved from the NH hotel to this Hotel on the last part of the non-company paid working vacation trip. I lived in Spain, and you can swear you are in a Spanish palazzo. The employees are very polite, the check in was very easy, the rooms have a safe, very handy in México. Free Wi-Fi. You have to go...

Just finished a 4-night stay at the Hotel Morales, and had a great stay in Guadalara. For those expecting a luxury 5-star stay prepared to be slightly disappointed - the look and feel were more of a low-tier 4-star (or trying hard 3-star). These were my thoughts: Pros: - The location is unbeatable, with the main sights and city centre...

Great hotel with excellent service! We will definitely come back again and again!! Conveniently located downtown, lots to see!!! Rainy weather kept us from a lot of sightseeing, but we had a cozy bed in a great mini suite and watched movies while it poured outside! We had the best 2 days, despite the weather!!

Location is tops for central Guadalajara, just a block from busy Av. 16 de Septiembre. We had a front room overlooking the street, with two windows. Could be noisy if that bothers you, but there's interesting street activity. Wifi, as others have said, is somewhat spotty. Staff was very helpful. Small suite with 2 beds had only one small nightstand,...

“Pay attention to details, light fixtures should be straight, not looking like they might fall at any minute, take a good look at the shower/bathtub, not inviting and dangerous steps. Beds are good but small, not many king size rooms available although our room could have easily accomodate one.”

“Room was comfortable, we had an interior room which had no window but that wasn't a problem. It made for a quiet room. Air conditioner, bathroom facilities etc. were all operating well. Very happy with our room.”
