We booked this hotel based on all the great reviews. We would agree that it is a quaint hotel in a good location, and that the staff is very helpful, and the view of the city is wonderful. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin ( we might as well have been sharing a room with the people across the hall)....

My family of 3 (wife, husband, 8-year-old) stayed here for 4 nights on our first trip to Guanajuato. It's a charming little place in a great location. We stayed in the Garzas room, which was a fun set of winding stone staircases down from the lobby. Outside our door was a nice little atrium with a seating area. The hotel...

Beautiful hotel located within an easy walk of the central city. Charming rooms, very nice shower area. Multilevel so steps may be a concern but the flow of the hall ways and the comfortable breakfast area more than make up for the slight inconvenience of climbing a few stairs. Fun town, colorful houses, great views all add to the ambiance...

This hotel has amazing character! It is very old but remodeled into unique and comfy rooms. The breakfast is served in a restaurant on the bottom level and was included in our room. It was fresh fruit, toast, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel sits up the hill from the historic downtown and the view of the city...

We stayed here in early April in the Cardinales room. The room was great for a family, with two separate bedrooms and a large bathroom with a jetted tub. We also had a private patio with a back view of two churches. The room was elegant, comfortable and immaculately clean. The hotel is down the street from Diego Rivera's house...

Hotel is even more than we expected. Large rooms with great appointments, beams, ancient stone walls, very good bathroom, and nice and helpful staff. Large, well working shower. So far Patti and Alishya (sp ?) Have been very helpful to us non-Spanish speakers. Location is perfect to main parts of Centro city. The hotel is a very old bakery that...

This is a perfectly situated small hotel in the heart of Guanajuato. The first room we were shown was lovely, but the bed was rather small so we asked to see an alternative. We settled on Los Jilgueros (extra charge of 600mxn per night), which is on the top floor with great views across the city. The room was large,...

We stayed here 3 lovely nights. The building has been updated in a thoughtful and tasteful way. The front desk staff was always welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, right by the middle of everything but not immersed. Our room was on the interior on a lower level but had a sweet balcony on the courtyard that let...

I absolutely love going to Guanajuato and staying in the older hotels. The structure of the properties always amazes me. Can't wait to return again. The location is walking distance from many restaurants & the weather is always awesome. The staff was very helpful as well

I spent 3 nights here in a room on the bottom floor. I don't know what the rooms were like upstairs, but given that people follow the mariachi bands around singing until the wee hours of the night, I was glad to have a basement room. The staff was so very helpful and kind and the rooms were very comfortable...
