This historical building appears to have been a seminary. The Hampton has maintained the facade of the building inside and out. It is within walking distance to the Zocalo (a historic center plaza flagged by the Presidential Palace (Diego's murals),government tiled offices, shops and the Metropolitan Cathedral ( in front of Templo Mayor ruins). You can easily spend weeks walking...

What a Treat !!! We chose The Hampton Inn Mexico City for two reasons: 1. Location. It is within 2 blocks from The Zocalo. 2. It has the looks and the feeling of a Historical Building. Upon arrival, we knew we had made the right decision. The Staff at this property was everything we had read on TripAdvisor... They are...

We chose this hotel based on reviews and we weren't disappointed. We were able to walk to several popular locations Zocalo, (three blocks), Palacio De Belles Arts) National Cathedral, National Palace, and Templo Mayor and there was an excellent seafood restaurant (Fisher's) attached to the hotel. The hotel and rooms were clean and well maintained and the staff was accommodating...

After repeatedly telling the hotel desk clerk that I wanted a quiet room because of sleep related problems, I was placed in a room with no windows on the first floor in the worst possible place-next to the street. Not content with the most claustrophobic small room with no window next to the street on the first floor, I approached...

Stayed here for 2 nights in October 2016 for my honeymoon. Very nice hotel in a great location. Room was very small but very trendy and comfortable. Best part of the stay was definitely the breakfast. Excellent buffet style breakfast with a mixture of Mexican food & sausages/bacon/egg etc. Also they have a waffle iron! Location is fantastic, 5 minutes...

We stayed here for just one night at the end of a 2 week stay in the area -- we started at the Hilton Reforma for a week, traveled around a bit, and then spent our last night here before heading home. For starters, the location is amazing, right off the Zocalo, surrounded by nice shops and top attractions. The...

Very centrally located hotel within 5 minutes walk of the main plaza in centro histrico. The hotel is well established for tourists and offers, a very modern and standard decorated large room. They offer a 12 / midday check out which is a good perk. Beds are large in size, comfortable and there is ample space to relax in the...

Somewhat noisy on the lower levels but otherwise a nice, older building with stained glass ceiling, good location and descent breakfast. Very close to the Zocalo. Concierge is generally helpful although he steered us to a very poor tour of the pyramides of Teotihuacan.

I stayed here for one night and the hotel has an amazing location. The room wasnt too big but for the price you pay I was happy with it. The breakfast was a little underwhelming and could be improved. The Wifi was good and strong connection throughout the hotel. I would stay here again
