Hotel Casa Gonzalez is an island of calm. Located just a short walk from both the metro and from Chapultepec Park with it's many promenades and museums, you can't go wrong! The restaurant also serves delicious meals in a charming family style setting.

The location was perfect for me. Safe area with lots of places to drop in for an espresso... My room was spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel and restaurant are set up so that guests can easily interact if they want to. In just two days, I met a lot of interesting people. I will return again....

Charming, old-fashioned courtyard style motel with balcony on many rooms. Beautiful old wood floors. There are several sections. I stayed in the older building that was once a family home. Very charming. Other sections have been added over time, it seems and are more modern, but still 1960-ish. Restaurant serving 3 meals/day. Friendly, helpful staff in all areas. Very secure...

Casa Gonzalez has been around a long time and is well known among the 'coterie." Located a couple of blocks from the American Embassy and La Reforma, it is convenient to the Zocolo (2 miles, best by taxi) and very good modest restaurants around the corner. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Best are the other guests, from around...

We encountered Casa Gonzalez while searching for affordable options in Mexico City. The reviews were good and prices amazing so we gave it a try. It exceeded our hopes. Our friendly welcome was followed by a delicious meal served at communal tables with guests from around the world. Each meal was an adventure as we discussed our tours and world...

We stayed for 4 nights as a couple in this beautiful Casa, and we're very happy with the quality of accommodation. We had a huge room, with a balcony, so plenty of room to spread out. The breakfasts were enormous and filling, and were served in a beautiful, light filled dining room, with huge lead light windows letting the morning...

Visited CDMX for the first time in December 2016 for five nights, and I am so glad I chose Casa Gonzalez. So close to the Paseo and La Zona Rosa, with so many interesting places to eat, drink and explore. The staff is incredible, and the attendants worked hard at keeping everything spotless. And a real joy was the family...

I stayed here in January 2017 and I was happy with my stay. Rooms are simple but clean and tidy, there is a lovely courtyard, and there is a nice breakfast room. The neighbourhood is good for finding restaurants.

I arrived at Casa Gonzales after about 24 hours straight of travel from Australia. I found all of the staff friendly and helpful without fail. The wifi was faster than it is in Australia. The breakfast was delicious, ample and the price was right! I found myself wishing I could stay for more than a single night! Muchas gracias!

The most important is that we want to make this your home away from home, at an accessible price.Casa Gonzalez is four old homes surrounded by courtyards and gardens of different eras that have been adapted to make a home for travelers.
