I have stayed at this hotel before when it was Holiday Inn. It is the same quality now but even better service. We were impressed with how helpful all staff was. At the arrival they simply carried our luggage inside and disappeared without waiting for a tip. We were offered some cold drinks and the check in was a breeze....

First time in Mexico City and chose this hotel for the location and price. Other reviews are correct that the right room will make it even more enjoyable. We had room 314 which is a superior Zocalo view room - highly recommend a Zocalo view even though you will get street noise. My friend had a single room which was...

The Superior room is worth the extra money. The view of the Zocalo from our windows was beautiful. Our room had high ceilings and plenty of space. The perfect place to stay before flying out the next morning. Excellent service-- our bags were taken in beofre we got out of our Uber, we were greeted with water and juice, and...

The interior and rooms are modern and it is all very clean and looks brand new. As would be typical of a city centre hotel in a historic building, the bedrooms and ensuite are small even with a queen bed. On each of the landings of the hotel is a fridge with bottled water to help yourself and there is...

We had been booked into this hotel by our travel agent, and upon entering our room, we were very disappointed in the size, layout and, and aspect of the room. So we asked for, and got an upgrade, at a cost! But well worth the extra dollars. We were now located on the 5th floor, in a room twice the...

One word - location. This hotel is right in the middle of the Zocalo with a restaurant/bar that overlooks the central plaza - grabbing breakfast in the morning (which is included) was always a treat. My room (queen) was great, though not as large as I initially expected. The bed was comfy with a beautiful headboard, and there's also laundry...

Very happy with the service of the restaurant staff on site, the quality of the food, and the room service. For this particular visit, Bar Zocalo pulled up the overall score of the hotel in my book. The welcoming greeting from the hostess and the genuinely warm smile of the maitre d’ alleviated my fatigue from my long journey. After...

Stayed there twice during business trips to CDMX. Love the place, its in the very heart of the city with an open air balcony restaurant/bar overviewing central plaza. Personel is professional and friendly. Food is top and pricewise reasonable. Rooms are decent, free water and fruits and nicely decorated. Sometimes a bit loud due to evening activities on central plaza....
