I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. The staff are extremely helpful and it felt like a home away from home! My friend arrived at the hotel feeling sick - the staff couldn’t do enough to help us e.g. calling a doctor, fetching medicine/snacks/drinks and also preparing food especially for her, while she recovered. Absolutely lovely hotel and staff ❤️

Hotel's Favourite
Excellent hotel due to : location, personnel, many amenities including very clean & well-outfitted gym, breakfast, 24/7 cafe w/ varied menu, bottled water & apples on each floor, working safe & mini fridge in room. Located close to Marathon finish line, runners could be observed from balcony. Its location in historic center made walking to historic synagogue, Museum of Memory/Tolerance, including Ann Frank exhibit, Palacio Nacional (Diego Rivero Murals), Templo Mayor, Cathedral, Palacio de Belles Artes historic building (watch the Ballet Folklorico, visit its museum & bookstore), and the famous Churros place, as well as to other restaurants, all walkable. All staff were outstanding, professional, friendly & helpful. Some of the individuals who made my stay comfortable & pleasant were: Beatriz, who cheerfully helped keep my room clean and well stocked, Arturo, Luis and Chef Jose who made each breakfast a special occasion (I miss the omelettes with mushrooms and squash blossoms), Amsi at the front desk, and: DIDIER: a magician, expertly making luggage fit into impossibly small spaces! A free walking tour is offered, I wish I had had time to take it. AND: I didn't get the name of the always present doorman who reached out a hand to assist a homeless man who tripped on the yellow phone cable streching down the sidewalk, but I appreciated that gesture very much. If I have a chance to return to Mexico City, this would be my first choice.

Top notch! If I could give this hotel 6 stars out of 5 I would. Lovely staff who are willing to bend over backwards to assist you in any way they can. I was having i-pad problems so they let me use their concierge computer for personal business and also found a couple English books in their storage area for my friend to read and take home. Super comfy beds, excellent location, free walking tour of the city, etc etc. Excellent value.

This was my first time in Mexico city and the staff provided a lot of support and understanding. Andrea, Yadid, Dafne and Valeria greeted us and checked us in. They were always available to help us out with advice and things we needed. The ample drinking water available all day was a lifesaver and the in-house cafe that serves food all day was a gem. Towards the end Alberto took his care off us with his extensive knowledge of the city and the museums in particular. The security team are very warm and supportive. Dafne was only a trainee at the time, but her enthusiasm and attitude were excellent and she helped us out loads. Excellent hotel, great location, we felt safe and looked after.

We had an eight day stay because we wanted to be centrally located and have the time to see the sights. In sum, stay here. The front desk staff went out of their way to accommodate us in scheduling tours, restaurant reservations, suggestions of what to see and so on. We walked or Ubered where we wanted to go, no need for a car. The hotel is about 1/2 way between the Zocalo and the Palacio de Belles Artes so many sites are easily walkable. Breakfast was very good. If we are back that way I could not think of a reason to stay anywhere else.

We stayed at the Historico Central for 4 nights this past February. The hotel location is excellent. Our room was large with high ceilings located on the third floor in the front of the hotel. I have never had better service at a hotel in all of my years of travel. The entire staff and especially Hedid, the concierge, looked out for my husband and I (especially my husband who needs to use a cane at this time) throughout our stay. Hedid arranged on her own for balloons, a beautiful card and a box of pastries and chocolates to be delivered to our room for my husband's birthday. The hotel is an incredible value, in that, breakfast is included in the nightly rate, the Central Cafe is available 24 hours for sandwiches, snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks also included and each floor has refrigerated bottled water and apples near the elevator.

Great little boutique hotel. Near the city center. Walking distance to many sights. Although the area can be busy, the hotel is on quiet street Excellent value. Room was comfortable and spacious for 2. Unlimited bottled water and coffee. Breakfast included was a nice touch. All the staff were friendly, gracious and helpful. Would stay again.
