This bed and breakfast is a true gem. Each room is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The food was the best we had in Oaxaca- each breakfast was a treat. It's close to everything, but in a quiet neighborhood. Lorena made the stay even better; she is kind, funny and patient with travelers who might not speak fluent Spanish. She helped...

We have visited Oaxaca twice and at both occasions it has been a pleasure to stay a the Estancia de Valencia B&B. The location is within walking distance from the center and the street is quiet. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the common areas for the guests are spacious and pleasant. The attention of Sra. Lorena is outstanding. A...

This gem of a B&B, is located behind the Jardin Conzatti park, only 4 blocks from the Llano park and 5 blocks away from the famous Santo Domingo church. Conveniently situated within a short walk to the supermarkets, a pharmacy, many varied restaurants, the dry-cleaners, cafes, a bank and many other conveniences, it is nonetheless tucked away in a quiet,...

It was definitely a great vacation this 2011. Especially those 6 days we spent in the beautiful city of Oaxaca. It is my 3rd year enjoying the Guelaguetza (beautiful and very colorful festival) this time my stay was excellent thanks to the hospitality they gave us at "Bed and Breakfast Estancia de Valencia" Splendid and elegance house. The great breakfast...

My partner and I had a marvelous experience during our two weeks at Estancia de Valencia. The home is clean, tastful, full of local art, beautiful textiles, and books, with a lovely outdoor patio full of plants. It is conveniently located in the historic district, only two blocks from the Instituto Cultural where we took Spanish classes. Our bedroom was...

My husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law and I stayed at Estancia de Valencia for 8 nights at the end of October and first week of November 2010. I truly can't say enough good things about this luxurious B&B. It's approximately 5-7 blocks from the heart of downtown Oaxaca--close enough to walk to the Zocolo/popular sights/restaurants and yet off of the beaten path...

I have always been proud of my culture, but what an amazing experience when you fall in love with it which is what happened in Oaxaca. From the moment I began making our reservations, and emailing Lorena I sensed a feeling of familiarity. I immediately felt welcomed without yet arriving. Upon our arrival at 9:00am from a long flight from...

Excellent small B and B about 7 block north of the central square. A bit off the beaten track but well worth the extra walking. Super Oaxacan breakfasts served at 8:30 each morning. The three rooms all have small balconies - one with a large terrace. Quiet street as opposed to some places nearer the center of town and the...

I can start saying that we were very lucky to be able to book a room in Estancia Valencia. Beto and Lorena manage this B&B with passion and dedication and an eye for details to make their guests fully enjoy their stay. Since we arrived, they made us feel at home right away. We were welcomed in a beautifully decorated...

This is a Bed & Breakfast in the colonial city of Oaxaca. It is in a quieter neighborhood , off of the main arteries. It was a remodel done by a local architect, who allowed light to filter in through many beautiful windows. The rooms are simply furnished with an eye for color & decoration. There are 3 rooms in...
