One of the best places we've stayed anywhere. Beautiful accommodations, beautiful room, warm, welcoming and knowledgeable hosts, great breakfasts. Convenient to center of town. We stayed a week, should have stayed a month.

It was our first time in Oaxaca, and we came with good friends. Our time ( eight days) was a whirlwind of experiences during the Day of the Dead. Our stay at Villa Oaxaca provided relaxing moments before we set off on our next days' adventures, either in the city or exploring surrounding villages, ruins, and countryside. The families' hospitality...

Juan and his family were as great of hosts as you can ask for. The place is gorgeous and very relaxed. Had a great time talking with the family each morning over breakfast, they had great advice on how to explore the city. Best tamales I ate all trip!

This was a great place to stay. It is a very quick cab ride away from the city center or a just a 30 minute walk. I did not miss out on anything by not staying in the center of the city, and it was nice to come back to peace and quiet at night. The family running the bed...

This is truly a great Oaxaca lodging option for anyone looking for a quieter, peaceful location farther uphill from downtown but easily reachable by a taxi ride. The friendly helpfulness of family and staff make all the difference, and they serve a great breakfast daily including an ever-changing variety of delicious Oaxacan dishes. Go and see for yourself!

A very beautiful and welcoming place. The hosts took very good care of me and gave me a lot of good advice. It is not in the centre of Oaxaca but easy to access with taxi. Calm and relaxing. Spacious room and great breakfast. I highly recommend this B&B.

Had a wonderful 5 days at this hotel which surpassed all my expectations. The villa itself is beautiful with a small pool and a garden with hummingbirds flitting around the flowers in the trees. The decor is very Mexican (in a good way) with paintings and pottery and statues giving a very authentic feel. The bedroom was airy and comfortable...

We were two couples staying in Oaxaca for the first time. Since we were in town for Dia de Los Muertos, this location was a reprieve from the hubbub of the fiestas, which we enjoyed and could then escape for a good night's sleep. Villa Oaxaca provided this as well as the most delicious breakfasts! We enjoyed fruit, granola, yogurt,...

If you are visiting Oaxaca for cultural reasons, staying here will add to the flavor. The owners are very hospitable and knowledgable in the area's history. They will help you set up your tour. Breakfast is delish! Fresh juices, coffee, and full breakfast meal, Oaxaca style. Kids' friendly. We were there with 2 little ones and they had great time...

Delightful staying out of the main town and no problem getting to and from the hotel. Rebecca very helpful booking taxis which only took 7 minutes to arrive and approximately 20 minutes into the old town. Would recommend private guide, again booked by Rebecca, who took us to Monte Alban and on to various other points of interest.
