We had a very nice stay here and I would definitely recommend this hotel if you don't mind the small walk into town. We had 1 spacious and cosy room right next to the garden (I believe it was n° 19), though there are big differences and the room our kids stayed in was rather plain (located in the newer...

Hotel Rincon del Arco in san Cristobal de las Casas was our third stop on a three week tour in Mexico and Guatemala. We stayed there for two nights. The hotel is well located within 5 minutes walking distance from the pedestrian zone with a multitude of restaurants. The rooms are large, simple and clean, but freezing cold (beginning of...

This hotel is located a 15 minute walk from the centre. It is a rustic hotel which we, and our fellow travellers, found extremely cold, we were glad of the warm sheets and blankets! The staff are friendly. There is a restaurant on site, which served breakfast and dinner. We had our first evening meal at the hotel due to...

We stayed for 2 nights only in San Cristobal but could've stayed longer! The location of the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the pedestrian zones near the centre but apart from a downpour on one of the many trips we made in our 2 days we never found the walk an issue. The hotel was clean, the...

This hotel had quaint Mexican rooms, clean and tidy with nice hot water. The garden area was lovely to sit in and have a beer and the staff were friendly. It was a five minutes walk to the centre where it was vibrant with life.

We spent two nights here on a Maya tour. Staff were friendly and helpful. The general ambience of the hotel is very good. Lovely gardens, spacious bedroom, great hot shower (the latter perhaps dangerously so, but is easily adjusted with the cold tap). Unfortunately on both nights sleep was much disturbed by noise off and on for most of the...

We stayed here 1/15-1/17/2015 & had the exact opposite experience of the 2 most recent reviews posted here. Concierge service was courteous & professional; zero problems with our quick and easy check-in/check-out. Rooms are spacious and immaculate. Restaurant menu was good, service was excellent even when waiters were busy with large tour groups (12-20 persons each). Purified water provided not...
