We only stayed here one night, it was an okay stay. The room was a bit small and dark with no windows outside and the bathroom was tiny. The breakfast was okay, no milk for the coffee though. The location is not very central but not too far and they have a laundry service (however, it is way more expensive... More

Clean and comfortable and great for making friends. The location is great too and they can help you organise affordable day excursions. Breakfast is a bonus. Just what we needed within our budget! Highly recommend it!

Comfortable and big bed and the room was clean, the shared bathroom was clean. The breakfast was ok, we had a pancake one day and chilaquiles the next one. The service is polite and helpful. Location is not the best you have to walk about 4 blocks to get to downtown.

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel, in dorm (but they also have privet rooms). Prices are economical, friendly and helping staff. Various pleasant spaces (sofa, bar, kitchen, terrace). There is also a laundry service, free wifi and compu access, breakfast is included, and in addition we have the whole day free tea. Finally, I made me a good group... More

Lovely hostel, friendly staff. Interesting hostel interior. Comfortable room, although the window in the corridor, but there were no problems. The town is attractive from a walk. Tasty street food produced. This city is convenient to go to Palenke. We were good hostel price.

Tiny room, tiny bathroom. NO wi-fi as advertised, internet available only at the 3 cable-streaming computers at the front of the hostel. Clerk was nice but ineffective at getting internet working. Place was quiet enough, clean. Hot water. The sheets and blankets were DRENCHED in fabric softener, virtually toxic waste. I had to drape my sweater over the pillow case... More

I stayed for a month at Planet Hostel and I got to know how it is run very well. Throughout my stay there I met a lot of great people, became friends with the owner, and of course fell in love with San Cristobal de las Casas as many people do. First of all, everyone is served an individual breakfast... More

Cheapest place we have stayed in Mexico yet – 300MXN a night including breakfast...you can’t really go wrong. Planet Hostel is a perfect base for a coupe of days stay in this lovely little town. We had a private room with a bathroom and it was totally fine, it is small and basic but it was clean enough and there... More
