Guayaba Inn is a beautiful botique hotel in San Cristobal. Stay there if you can! I know they are nearly always booked, but do your best to get in there! It is seriously first rate hospitality, food and exquisite rooms and courtyard.

I used bus service in and out of San Cristóbal. You are aware that the airport is in another city, I believe about 45 minutes to one hour away. I am certain that the hotel desk can help you plan this transfer. I found airport shuttles on-line. I found the desk to be very helpful in local arrangements. Sounds like you will have a very early morning! Where are you headed from there?
