After seen the pictures of the hostel we decided to stay there. But the first room we got was super cold and the door left about 20 cm open to the wall. Since its just about 5-6 degrees celsius in the night, that is not very nice. In the end we got a new room, which was a bit warmer,...

I have stayed with Gladys twice now. The first time, I was with a friend and we kept mostly to ourselves. Our privacy and shyness were respected completely, though I did get the chance to meet Gladys and I fell immediately in love. She has a great energy! The second time I went to San Cristobal, I went back to...

So we arrived at night on the 27th of December and found the town was booked solid. We were carrying a tent and chances across this place a few long blocks from the city centre. We unfortunately don't speak Spanish and had a broken conversation with the night manager (who was lovely) and because we arrived late we didn't have any...

We apologise for the inconvenience. At the time, Gladys was experiencing health issues and was unable to host meditation sessions for consecutive days. Once again, apologies for the inconvenience caused.

After a bad experience in another hostel, some nice travelers whom I met in a bar sent me over to Gladys' Hostel. My main thing was price efficiency, cleanliness, friendliness and running hot water (it's cold in the mountains) and Gladys went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. The place was clean, smelled nice, the beds...

Very quiet and relaxing place. I loved the garden with all the plants and trees. Rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfortable, with many blankets, so it is not cold at nights. The staff is really friendly and smiling. It was a great expirience, thanks a lot!

I stayed here for one week and it was the best hospitality I've experienced in Mexico! Gladys, the woman who owns the hostel, is a colorful, energetic eccentric soul. She was very accommodating, helpful and up for tea and a chat any day. The rooms were cosy, clean and inviting, and the kitchen was fully equipped with a refrigerator, utensils,...
