Beautiful beaches, great snorkeling tours to see turtles and reef, friendly fishing village. Road to Punta Allen an easy trek just watch for iguanas. Several options for stays right on beach. Quite village except when the tours are in. Worth the drive.

We got a private room and were given two options. The room for 390 pesos was not great with the only window looking into the building itself, so we went with the other available room for 450 pesos and it was like night and day....More

Getting to Punta Allen is a challenge itself. It takes about 1:45 to get there from Tulum. No paved road so even though the drive is just 35 miles, it takes almost 2 hours since the road is full of holes. A few beautiful places...More
