We enjoyed Salvia and would go back. Was not five star, but didn't pay five star price. Two room for two couples could have used a little updating, but was fine. Beach and pools were very clean. Wi fi is too expensive and there is a one dollar a day cost for the safe. Beautiful views beachside. Housekeeping is great.

I stayed at Salvia, renting from a private owner through Airbnb. Though the building is aged, it is still a good location. We rented 803A, and it was a beautiful, modern apartment. It had a great view and because we were on the 8th floor the music from the clubs was buffered. As for the building, the pool was lackluster...

Older building but clean. Beach out front great for swimming or boogie boards. Fun to people watch. I had a studio nicely furnished. Pool with a small cantina for drinks and food snacks (cash bar and food).

What a complete shambles this hotel is! Travelled as a group of 9 inc 3 children from river is maya for one night! We were thrilled with location! Hotel however is dirty! We were bit by mosquitos! The rooms were dirty, sheets thread bare! Wifi isn't free as advertised! Problem with booking.com meant we had to speak with reception staff...

403-A/B was a wonderful condo. A nice kitchen, a bedroom suite with a king bed, and two full sized beds in a space adjacent to the living room. The sleeping arrangements don't leave enough privacy for intimacy but fine for sleeping. We had to buy salt, cooking oil, paper towels, and dish soap for the kitchen and the fridge was...

We are staying here right now, July 6, 2016. Our first stay at the Salvia was in the 1990's, before they added the beach. We have stayed here several times since. A quiet place, clean, on the beach. The Salvia has a nice swimming pool with a small bar/restaurant. We will stay here on our next visit. If you want...

The place was nice, if not a little oldish looking. You could tell that it was probably luxurious looking in its day, but even so, I enjoyed it. The staff was great, and all spoke English. The security I ran into didn't speak English, or at least not fluently enough that they felt comfortable talking to me. Since the hotel...

The hotel is extremely well situated but, please never stay in this hotel. The floor was dirty, the bathroom dilapidated and dirty, the furniture and bed cover stained and damaged. The hotel didn't offer cleaning,so, we had to borrow a mop and take the sheets down and wash them...the A/C did not work in the elevator, so it was a...

Is a very nice apartment , my family of 4, 3 women and one 6 yr old girl were very comfortable here. There are a few things to say, the kitchen is handy and you have to leave it clean, they will charge you 500 pesos or 50 dollar deposit wise, you get it back when they check your room...
