This is the perfect location if you will be diving with Scuba Mau, Pappa Hogs or the other diving shops in the area and you don't plan to stay much in the rooms. For everything else there are better hotels. The breakfast is very basic so you will be better to buy something from the nearby OXXO (small convenient store)....

I stayed at the Villablanca for a week in May 2010. We upgraded to superior rooms upon arrival. They were spacious, clean and well appointed, with a king bed and a futon in the sitting area. Bathrooms are marble, with a large shower and vanity. Our rooms were on the first floor, with a small patio area with chairs overlooking...

I have stayed here twice now. The first was with my wife 2 years ago. This last time was with my 3 brothers. My review applies to both times. This is not a luxury place but it is nice. We stayed in a superior room. They are very large, the beds are large and pretty good. The views are okay...

I am not sure if this is endemic in the area, or if it is only this hotel. 2 years ago, we were at Casa Del Mar hotel just a few steps south of this one, and we did not have problem with salty tap water. But this hotel certainly has salty tap water and from the shower. You can...

This is a wonderful piece of property with the owners living on the proprety. I LOVE Villablanca and have stayed the 4 times and fixing to stay my 5th time. The price is AWESOME! If you aren't too lazy to walk across the street, you can save hundreds of dollars on a hotel and get the great luxury of a...

If this place wasnt next to my favorite dive shop ever i would probably never stay here. But with that being said here is what I thought. I stayed in the superior room for an extra few bucks and i think it was worth it even though i never actually saw the other rooms. The room was big but the...

A great value in Cozumel. Clean, large superior room - excellent location across from ocean and three dive shops (Scuba Mau, Papa Hogs & Dive Paradise) immediately next to the property. I had read the reviews of others on the hotel staff and the cleanliness of the room and we did not have that experience at all. The staff are...

My wife and I stayed here (along with friends) during the Thanksgiving week. We upgraded to a Superior room (very well worth the small additional amount). The room was large, clean, and had a nice view of the sea and the pool. The staff was nice. The restaurant located on the property was good for breakfast, and Arturo (the owner)...

When negotiated as part of a dive package with Scuba Mau, the rates at the hotel Villa Blanca Gardens are value-added and worth it. The hotel is conveniently situated across the street from the ocean and right next door to the dive shop and a couple of bars/restaurants. We stayed in a superior room. The rooms are large, clean, have...

Enjoyed our stay. The rooms wee clean, and friendly staff. Would stay at this hotel again, because it is close to diving. Would not dive with Papa Hog's - you gt home only to find additional charges on your credit card you did not sign for or approve, and have n way t discpute the charges with the dive shop.
