This historic hotel is located in a VERY convenient spot in downtown Merida - within walking distance from the center and a stones throw away from many nice restaurants and bars in the area. The ceilings are VERY high, and this gives a very historic, rustic, and quaint feel to the hotel. The sewer systems are a tad rusty but...

We stayed here for just 1 night. Check in was quick and easy. We stayed around the back near the pool area. Room was clean and had all the amenities needed. The guests above us were a bit rowdy but overall was a nice stay. Good location, walking distance to shops and restaurants.

If you're looking for a basic, clean hotel, this will meet your needs. The location is great, close to many restaurants and shops. I had a double room with two beds on the second level. You can hear noise from the courtyard and pool, but people weren't out there much past 11 pm. The bed was firm and comfortable. The...

Only downside is no elevator. Nice room, great location. Right across street is 24 hr Cafe Havana, cheap & good food & coffee. Clean, surprisingly quiet. Part of a tour booking with G Adventures. Would stay again though small for 2. Wifi only in lobby.

We stayed 4 nights in a room close to the pool. Our room was large with 2 double beds small bathroom and low ceiling (7'-6"). By the breakfast area the bedroom ceilings looked to be at least 12' high. For a small fee they served fruit coffee and toast sweet buns with jam honey and peanut butter. The pool was...

We stayed in the family room which had 3 full/queen beds and a sofa. It is on the corner of the building with a lovely double door Juliet balcony. The bathroom was very small. The hotel has beautiful tile work, 20' wood beam ceilings and gorgeous wood doors. It is a bit worn but has very good bones. Breakfast was...

Great location and comfortable bed, but that's really all it has. Service was okay but not really friendly, NO WIFI in the rooms, breakfast is terrible and the rooms are just next to a really noisy street. Towels were dirty. CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

This hotel is a little worn on the edges, as it occupies a very old colonial building, but the rooms are comfy and clean. The staff is pleasant and helpful, and doesn't interfere with your enjoyment of Merida. The location cannot be beat, and the price is completely reasonable ($40 per night for double with balcony). You can see into...

Had a double room on the second floor with one very large bed. Balcony opened onto the less busy of the two streets, and with the door closed it was reasonably quiet at night and in morning. Hotel has a pool, which I did not use, but it looked good. Didn't try the breakfast, but they do offer a light...

The hotel is located right in the heart of Centro historico. The rooms were clean and the building had the old colonial charm. It's a great value. We were here five days and were treated great. Mostly, I want to say that Erica at the front desk went above and beyond to make us happy and help us with some...
