My daughter and I booked this place last minute from the airport when we landed. It was New Years Eve and there was little choice left. This would not have been my first pick, but was pleasantly surprised. I think we ended up in one of the lesser rooms but it was clean and had everything we needed. The good:...

We chose this place because we needed a pet friendly hotels before our return home ,after a 5 week stay on the beach . The location is good, very close to el Centro. It is dated (except for the bathrooms on the main level ...they are quite modern looking. The staff is very friendly. In my opinion we paid too...

Very nice place to stay in downtown. Close to lots of shops and restaurants. Very safe. Very clean. Very friendly staff. The pool area was clean and well maintained. There were a lot of small seating areas in various places which allowed us to be out of the room yet inside the hotel's open air space. The room was a...

Perfect for a short stay in Merida. 10 minutes walking from the Cathedral. We had a big family room in the new building (definitely better than the oldest one). It was clean. Nice pool in the patio. Very convenient private parking absolutely necessary in this city. The breakfast is poor, the towels are small and we had to ask for...

Stayed here several times and will likely stay here again. We like the convenient location to the central plaza and the market. They have new mattresses and pillows now, which certainly increases the comfort level. The pool and garden area is a peaceful place to relax and get away from the city and the crowds. A hot breakfast is very...

I origanaly booked rhe room for four nights but it looked like I needed one more night, that was not a problem. They give a 3% discount if you pay your room in cash (MXN obiously) which also helped. The staff was very nice and helpful to almost everything I needed for my stay, the only thing I did not...

Spent 3 nights at this hotel. For me, there were positives and negatives. First off, the street that it is on is very sketchy looking. When we pulled on to the street I was immediately disappointed. It was also a very big pain to go in and out of the parking garage. So much so that we decided to spend...

We stayed here for for 12 nights. This hotel is located in the "Centro", and is an easy walk from the market, the Gran Plaza, the Plaza Santa Lucia, and many restaurants and entertainment. Yet it is quiet and peaceful; I felt safe there. We took 2 of the excellent tours which the hotel arranged, and were very pleased with...

I was GRANDPAcking in Merida for 8 nights at the end of October. I stayed all 8 nights in the Doralba. I booked 3-4 weeks before my arrival. The Doralba is on the edge of the Historical Center … which is why I chose it. One thing that Queretaro, Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende taught me was that you...

We stayed in the newer building, apparantly there is also an older part. Room and pool are really okay and clean. Location is 2 or 3 blocks from main square. Breakfast however is just terrible and part of the staff not so friendly.
