The hotel is on a busy road but as soon as you step through the front door you enter a different world - tranquil, luxurious and staff that are one step ahead of you. Casa Lecanda has been beautifully renovated, it is a small boutique hotel with just a few rooms. The rooms have tall ceilings; wooden shutters; mahogany furniture;...

Beautiful colonial style building, elegant decorations and furnishings, lovely well equipped rooms, shaded courtyard. Charming helpful staff . Great location, less than 10 mins walk from the centre. Close to local square where there are free open air concerts and folk dancing for the locals.

We enjoyed our stayed in this beautifully designed B&B. It is very peaceful and quiet despite being right by a busy street. The location is perfect and walking distance for exploring the sites and restaurants of Merida. The room rate includes continental breakfast, cooked breakfast comes unfortunately at an additional fee. Our room was beautiful with 4-5 metre high ceilings....

We stayed for only a short time, three days, and it was fantastic. The staff, the hotel, the food - all first rate. If you have the chance, have them deliver a dinner to your room, you won't be disappointed. Will we go back, we've already booked our next stay.

This hotel is more expensive than most in Merida but I have absolutely no regrets about staying here. Walking into it feels like you are walking into a different universe. It's gorgeous, calming, and a great place to relax. We booked the least expensive room category but loved our room with original details (amazing tile work and high beamed ceilings)....

when you arrive near casa Locanda you might be a little be confused about the place itself... but once you enter the big entrance door you just realize that you made the right choice! a warm welcome and hospitality, refreshments and refreshing towels... you feel like being in a little an secluded oasis in the middle of the town. Furniture,...

This was a lovely little hotel in the capital City of Merida. True to colonial style the rooms were dark (for the days before ac!!) if the shutters were closed wich was ideal, especially as my friend was unwell and needed to rest on the days we stayed there. There was a lovely courtyard with hammocks and sofas outside our...

Wow! This little hotel with its lovely romms, great staff and beautiful backyard is just a gem. There was nothing more we could have asked for when coming back from an exhausting day exploring the city. Thank you!

Looks good in the pictures - the reality was something else. Our room was decorated in dark wood and poorly lit. A large wardrobe served as a visual room divider from the bathroom but does not provide privacy. Staff indifferent, breakfast formulaic - anything cooked is an extra charge ...including nespresso coffee!!! It's ok for one night. A trip to...

More style than substances. Like a nicely run B &B. I arrived having been very unwell in Mexico City and no care was proffered apart from an offer to arrange a taxi to the hospital. Breakfast is ok. No variation except as extra. If you want expresso instead of americano coffee it's an extra charge!! Really!! Rooms are comfortable but...
