Wonderful friendly staff and a better free breakfast than some other places, which included french toast, fruit with yogurt and granola, juice, and coffee. Location: It's walking distance from the squares, restaurants, and café's, and also right between the main area and Paseo del Montejo. (I would actually park at Paseo del Montejo if you're wanting to walk that strip.)...

This hotel offered a very small room as I was travelling solo but it was furnished and with a safe. It had a nice bathroom with hot rain shower, air con and cable TV with Spanish channels. The hairdryer was a nice touch. Very friendly staff and helpful. Breakfast was included and different every day.

A really lovely little hotel, based in an old colonial building. It's in a row of lots of other buildings and pretty unassuming from the outside - just one large gate really. As soon as you step in though you see the big open reception and courtyard area, the lovely original (looking) tiles and pictures on the walls. The room...

This is a lovely place with beautiful rooms with high ceilings. Close to a lot of things but not too much to make it loud. The staff was friendly and the free breakfast was good. Parking was plenty around. Just an older beautiful building.

We stayed at this hotel back in May and still have fond memories of this place. It was everything that we expected and then some. The hotel staff was helpful and always available with event suggestions, restaurant recommendations and transportation arrangements. We found this hotel to be perfectly located and were able to walk to wherever we wanted to go....

This is a nice and simple boutique hotel located near the historic center of Merida in a quiet street. The hotel is built in a Colonial house and it is doing a good job in preserving the atmosphere of the old house. The rooms (or at least the one we stayed on) are large and comfortable, but very basic. the...

I feel compelled to begin by addressing what three reviewers (who all apparently stayed in the same room) felt necessary to say about this fine establishment. I think they may have even been there at the same time as my group, so I feel qualified to talk about exactly the same issues. The Peregrino is a former Colonial home which...

Thank you very much for your very nice and accurate comment. Hopefully it will help to set the record straight and restore confidence for prospective guests. We are not a five star hotel but we do everything possible to act like one. Our rates are very reasonable for the experience our guests receive. Happy travels.

Very pleasant hotel near the center of town. Nicely renovated building with lots of character. Plenty of personal service at the front desk and in the dinning room. Abundant breakfast served from 7:30 on the patio. A very nice overall experience for a visit to Merida. Owners are very helpful providing information about activities in town and around Yucatan.

It's charming little hotel. We had very nice room with comfy beds. Although bathroom needs some renovation. But they have nice jacuzzi at tarrace. Breakfast were very tasty but too small. Staff was nice and helpful (e.g. they told us where we could make laundry, gave us free map).
