First off we only spent 2 nights here but wish it was more. Clean and the pool was great to cool off in. Beds were comfy and shower had great pressure. We liked it for the location and the Price. I think the front desk staff could be a little more friendly but they seemed to have forgot how to... More

I really liked this hotel with its central location between Calle 4 and Calle 6 on Avenida 20, as it is only a few blocks from the beach and Avenida Quinta (5th Avenue). The gardens are lush and well maintained providing an oasis atmosphere right in the middle of everything. There is a shaded small pool mainly for dipping and... More

We booked this hotel due to it’s good position to ADO bus station and colectivo station. It’s more like a hidden gem, cause once you enter this hotel you have the feeling like spending your holiday in the jungle. Very beautiful and silent during the days, unfortunately during the nights everything turns out into a club. We could hear music... More

Spent five nights there. Almost in the centre-ville and walking distance to the beach, the hotel is surprising, with a piece of tropical garden, fountains and a swimming pool in its lobby. The personnel was very friendly. The rooms have a teerrrace or balcony. Clean, daily cared. Some minor technical problems (energy saving lamps not working). Breakfast only continental but... More

The Hul ku is a decent basic hotel. Conviently located. The rooms are of adaquate size and reasonably maintained. The small details is where this location is lacking. On a closer look the fans and ceilings have not been dusted for some time as obvious by the dark cobwebs. The linens while fresh and clean have show age, taters and... More

We (family with two teenage boys) stayed one night at this hotel. The room was clean and ok. Had a balcony with hammock facing the hotel garden and small pool. The trees and vegetation in the garden are very high so hardly no sun reaches the pool/balcony. Continental breakfast served at the table was ok but a bit too sweet... More

We stayed at Hotel Hul-Ku for one night on our way south from Cancún. Check in at around 8pm was no problem and there is secure parking available for guests at the back of the hotel. Our room (twin double beds) was simple but had everything we needed - hot shower, A/C, wifi and a small kitchen area. Breakfast (included... More

Pros: good environment downstairs Cons: no wifi connection in rooms, the water in the shower shut off while we were showering and did not come back on, the staff were frequently not available in reception, and were not very nice

This is our second year to stay at Hul-Ku. It is a nice quiet hotel (except for one night when there was a loud group who did not read/abide by the "Pool closes at 8PM" sign. We stayed 3 nights in May at Hotel Hul-Ku. We checked out a few places between $40-$50 Australian a night and they were more like youth hostels (not that there's anything wrong with that but we're a bit older and want a little more comfort and less noise. May is low season (though you wouldn't know it for the number... More

“Stay in the back of the hotel, as the Argentinean restaurant in front will keep you awake until 1AM and that was on a weekday. Not the hotel's fault by any means. The rooms in the front are old and outdated. If you want rooms like in their advert pics, ASK for them.”
