Hi, BUDDYV answer was spot on. Pesos are a pain and prices for everything on 5th Ave. are listed in USD as well as pesos. Just to add there is a shuttle to 5th Ave. from the resort that is 4 dollars or 50 pesos each way and departs at 9am, 12pm, and 4pm. It returns at 1pm, 3pm, and 7pm. They drop you off behind a jewelry store. It would be a good idea to take a picture of the front of the store on your phone where they drop you off cause after a while it all looks the same. If you miss the shuttle because you forgot where the pickup is,[like we did], there are taxis everywhere in Playa Del Carmen there that will return you to the resort for about 20 dollars. And if you want an adventure, try flying down the streets of Mexico in one of their taxis. That is an experience in itself.
