Pros: Perfect place to escape the trials of everyday life. Very casual relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff always pleasantly available to meet your needs. Place is amazing. Great management. Bungalows are built into jungle landscape surrounded by lush vegetation providing wonderful privacy. Never bought insect repellent, did get one bite. Didn’t stay beachfront, stayed second row back, had a gusty ocean...

Dear Jamamac: So grateful for you amazing review, the fact that you would stay again with us makes us very proud and confirms that the hard work and love we put into our little paradise is valued by our guests. We were surprised though by the comment of the coffee before Casa Banana opens, since we do leave a Nespresso...

It was our first stay in Mexico and we fell in love with the beach in Tulum. The cabana and hotel was really lovely and very well located in a lively area (restaurants, bars ... minutes away). This was the kind of relaxation we were looking for, beautiful weather, beautiful beach in an area that is not crowded, I would...

T and I have just been on our first visit to Mexico and, due to T's research we found a really excellent place at Nueva Vida. The best thing about this location is the staff. All are warm, friendly and helpful, led by mariella and roger they are all dedicated to giving guests the best holiday experience. Following on from...

Dear DudleyPaul: We are stoked you had a Super Holiday with us, it was a pleasure having you with us. Not to worry if you happen to come back and stay in the rooms that are not beach front since they have very good lighting, but yes, you will not have the breathtaking sunrises from your bed. We want to...

This place was incredible, with a beautiful beach that wasn't at all crowded, a secluded setting, and a laid-back vibe. The only down side was the mosquitoes, even in January, but that comes with the territory. I got the impression this hotel had better infrastructure than other eco hotels, with hot(ish) water and electricity all the time, and private bathrooms...

We loved our cabana right on beach it was wonderful. Only one electrical socket so we took it in turns to recharge phones and cameras. great location with restaurants within walking distance. We didn't try casa banana for dinner as they were disappointing and slow at limited continental breakfast. The beach service is practically non existant. They gave us menus...

Dear alisonjane_11: Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we are very sorry that your stay with was not perfect due to the restaurant, we want to let you know that Casa Banana has hired a waiter specifically to attend the beach and these delays and dissatisfaction with our guests do not happen anymore and fortunately it...

We stayed at the Remiro for 3 nights as part of a 3 week tour of the region. Set in the 'jungle' next to a wonderful beach it combined sought after elements for an enjoyable stay. Friendly helpful staff, good sized room and shower room. No air con not a problem at around 28 degrees. The roar of the ocean...

My husband and I spent a few nights at the hotel on our honeymoon. It was so unique (there was a palm tree in our shower b/c they had built the hut around it) and secluded. It felt like we had our own private beach! A true gem. Be forewarned though, they have no air conditioning. It was probably the...

During our trip to Mexico, we spent 2 nights in Tulum at the Nueva Vida hotel and were amazed by this charming ecolodge! Everything is quiet and peaceful around, the beautiful gardens are relaxing, the owner at the reception was very helpful and kind, and our room delightful! We had the chance to sleep in a suite room in front...

Stayed for two nights at Nueva Vida for our honeymoon last September. You will definitely get the cabana experience! Our cabana was "La Ola" which came along with a free coconut tree in the shower and was at the foot of the ocean. The staff was very welcoming and gave us a pineapple and chaya drink as we walked in....

We stayed here two years ago and had to return. We were not disappointed. Stayed in Horizonte Perdido (suite #2) for 3 nights and Tenura Corizon (suite #27) for one night. Both rooms were great for individual reasons. Nueva added wifi to the rooms - which is a great addition from last visit. #2: you can't get any closer to...
