Picked this place after a last minute change in our vacation itinerary. Friends who’d been to Tulum said to make sure to stay on the beach. Instead, we opted to stay in town since Casa Agape has a sister hotel on the beach that allows you to use their lovely beach club. Best of both worlds.

We could ride our rented bikes to beach each day and hang. Then head back into town for lots of dinner options and shopping for gifts to take home.

Casa Agape has a roof top restaurant and bar that is great for breakfast, or any meal. Everesto is a very friendly and attentive bartender and server. The rooftop pool is small but is great for a dip after a hot ride back from the beach.

Philipe and Alexis at the front desk were SUPER helpful hooking us up with bikes, taxis, a nearby laundry, and transport to Holbox, our next destination.

This place is a REALLY good deal considering you get a beautifully designed room in A great location, and can get to the beach or the ruins after a fun bike ride. And you have beach club privileges at Diamanté K.

We would return.

Oh, and if you’re lucky, the toucans will visit the tree right outside your balcony. They did four times during our stay!!!

My boyfriend and I spent 3 nights at Casa Agape and absolutely loved it. The staff was super helpful, covid protocols were followed the entire time making us feel safe, the rooms were large and beds extremely comfortable. The AC would extremely well and the water was fresh and always hot. We loved the layout of the room and our private garden right outside with a hammock. We spent many mornings and afternoons lounging at the pool, which we usually had to ourselves. We also ate at the rooftop restaurant multiple times - the food was great and the portions huge. The staff was also extremely accommodating and helpful - from bringing us delicious margaritas and lunch to the pool to arranging bike rentals for a day (they drop them off at the hotel). The location is also good, we felt very safe and were able to walk to delicious restaurants right around the corner. Would absolutely recommend staying there if you're looking for a spot in town.

Our stay at Casa Agape Boutique Hotel was the perfect place/experience for downtown Tulum.
The service was friendly and attentive. The rooms were comfortable, clean and unique. Loved the roof top pool and the restaurant on top. 10% discount if you pay cash at the restaurant for staying in the hotel. The food and drinks are perfecto! Also the location made it easy to explore downtown, where there were shops, restaurants and street vendors and the beach (short taxi cab ride or bike ride away). This hotel also has a sister hotel on the beach so you can use the beach club during the day.

Honestly had an amazing experience
Mucho Gracias!

The only improvement I would say is to have more wall hooks in the room to hang/dry towels, bathing suits etc. I know there were two in the shower but felt like it needed a couple more in the room area.

Honestly, I had high hopes for this hotel. The pictures make this place look amazing, but that’s all it is. A photo op for the next instagram influencer. Despite it being a newer hotel, only open for a couple of years and being closed for Covid, the hotel is definitely falling apart because there is no focus on maintenance.

The shower heads and showers, and faucet is covered in calcification so all the holes in the shower head don’t work. The corner of the shower is a dark abyss -
Not sure if it was mould but to scared To check. The rooftop pool was cute but it’s essentially a bathtub with a view of water tanks from neighbouring hostels.

Location isn’t that great, it’s on a back road with a gas station and hostels. This is perfect For college couples but not for a family vacation.

No bottled water, only a litre of filtered water in a glass carafe and 4 glasses. The glasses are not washed during your stay; the house Keeper just rinsed it in the washroom sink and wiped it with her towel. 🤮

Floors don’t get mopped during your stay. Housekeeping gets missed even if you put the sign up. They don’t change the sheets even if you request it (one pillow case had a stain the entire week we were there, so we knew it wasn’t being changed.)

Doors don’t lock properly so you have to slam it shut; wished someone told us so we didn’t leave our room open one entire day.

There were ants everywhere. Had a donut on the counter for a few minutes, came back to the top being COVERED with ants.

Potted plants outside we’re getting mouldy as well.

Restaurant upstairs is decent. But vegan.

The property has promise, but is lacking serious maintenance. They need to deep clean the rooms and property properly.

We inadvertently ended up staying at this hotel as this was not our original destination and we are so glad we did!
This is a newly opened boutique hotel.
We found the staff attentive and very helpful.
The owners were on site and asked how we found things and what we thought of things, very personable.
The rooms are well layed out, we enjoyed having our own private deck to sit out in the evening. Having a fridge and coffee bar are definately an asset.
The restaurant, while still working out a few kinks, had great service and delicious food.
Being able to use the beach and facilities at Diamante K is a huge asset.
We would not hesitate to stay here the next time we visit Tulum and will be recommending it to friends and family travelling to the area.

For the price this is an amazing option if you want to be in town. The hotel was just built in December, so all the rooms are modern & clean ... and decorated in a very chic "Tulum style". We really enjoyed the private pool on the roof. Great place for photos! The whole hotel had a jungle-like vibe although it's right off the main street in the center. Check-in was very easy & they allowed us a late check-out without paying a fee. I thought the staff was attentive and very polite. I would certainly stay here again!

I loved my time at Casa Agape. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. Fresh purified water daily. The staff is extremely helpful and everyone was very nice. Concierge service was amazing. They helped with everything you needed including renting bikes, cars, mopeds, setting up trips to cenotes, fishing trips, snorkeling, ruins tours and much more. They also have a rooftop pool and restaurant. The restaurant has delicious food. They are also connected to a hotel in the archaeological site so you can utilize their beach, cabanas, umbrellas, restaurant and more. Overall I had a great time and I look forward to coming back. Thanks!

Could not be happier with our decision to stay in the pueblo rather than the beach this year! Beautiful, clean rooms with great amenities and friendly staff. Rooftop bar and restaurant is hard to beat and Evaristo, the bartender/server is top notch!

We saved a ton of money staying at Casa Agape and had the opportunity to experience the real Tulum, while still having free access to a quiet beach club that was just a quick bike ride away.

Enjoyed our stay so much we added an extra night and pushed our flight back!

Cannot tell you how much we loved our stay at this hotel. It was honestly the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in and spent more time than we planned in the room because of it! We were blown away by the architecture of the building. On our second day we arrived back to balloons, roses and champagne to congratulate us on our wedding. The staff and service were second to none.

We spent one day by the lovey rooftop pool and drank the most delicious Margaritas I’ve ever tasted made by Octavio.

The location is perfect right in the heart of tulum centro but quiet enough to not hear the party scene.

Do not hesitate to book this hotel, it’s AMAZING!!
