El Jardín de Frida is your home in Tulum, we're an Eco-Cultural Poshtel, full of magic, culture and art built around a beautiful botanical garden. The project is inspired not only in Frida Kahlo's amazing life, but also in Mexico's great culture, art and traditions, offering all that in your stay. We are located in Tulum's residential area, on the main avenue, 5 minutes away from downtown and the bus station. We cater to guests looking for a quiet and comfortable place to relax, surrounded by a beautiful lush tropical garden. Our garden is programed to help you heal and release any energy you no longer wish to carry with you. You will be surrounded by the beauty of nature... The singing of the birds in the morning will wake you up and the chirping of the crickets at night will accompany you in your dreams. In our beautiful botanical garden you will find different species of local trees and plants, like the sacred Mayan tree or the chicle (bubble gum) tree, amongst others. Here you can learn about our local flora and their uses. We also have a hammock site where you can lay down below bamboo trees, a great place to arrive and chill after a day of exploring the area. We are concerned not only in the quality of service but also in developing activities that benefit the planet. We offer you a good price, an excellent service and an unforgettable stay full of magic, nature and Mexican culture. Here you SLEEP, LEARN and HEAL. Welcome HOME!

It would be enough to stay here for the tranquility of the garden, and the eccentric yet beautiful bohemian decor. Almost every inch of this place is Instagramable, but it’s the staff that has made it such a lovely stay. They have been super accommodating and friendly and fun

A good hostel when you are looking for some quiet time. The rooms were a bit dark, garden was lovely aswel as the restaurant/front garden. Its a little bit out of town. But the restaurant across the street was amazing.

We stayed 3 nights at jardin de frida and were absolutely happy there. It is located in the City center at a busy road. Nevertheless it is quiet due to its cute garden. It is a Bit far to the Beach (and the main touristic area) but you have everything you need: Little shop

This place is incredibly gorgeous. The garden is lush and laying out in the hammocks was so nice. It's very very quiet, not a lot of people bustling around so if you need a silent place to be alone this is the place to be! There is a bar on site but it closes very early and is

Loved my 2 week stay at Frieda’s. I was quite at home, and sad to move on. It is casual, comfortable, very safe and monitored. Loved the art, garden sculptures, cat & dog... and information about the artist. The location was great- south end so close to the ADO bus, easy to get

Hi, We love that you enjoyed your stay with us. Sorry about the noise those first two nights, we had an unexpected event around the block so we couldn’t let our guests know about the possible noise. We are glad that you liked your second room and our facilities in general. Thank you also for your kind words towards the staff. We hope to see you again!

Probably. Most rooms have hooks for hammocks and some come with hammocks as standard. There may be a cot/hammock dohinkey they can whip up for you. Just contact them. They are very helpful and amenable.
