i attend yoga classes at Maya Tulum. Fabulous facility in a big open studio with many different styles of yoga to choose from. The resort supplies the mats, blankets and all other props...so come as you are. The instructors each have their own unique style. they come from all over the globe to teach at this facility.

Visited with the kids, was able to make a last minute booking, only drawback there was not being given huts next to each other, but close enough. They were ok to swim and snorkel around the rocks on the beach. Far enough away from the town but also small enough to ensure that we got out of the resort to... More

MayaTulum is a beautiful property right on the beach. The cabanas are in excellent condition and the beach is cleaned every morning. It is a very intimate place with sandy paths woven throughout palm trees and cabanas. Because it is a spa with a multitude of spa amenities and massages, there is soft music playing outside along the path. There... More

We had a work meeting here recently. We stayed in a cabin right on the beach. It was lovely going to sleep to the sound of the waves each night. The food was good, margaritas excellent & meeting facilities good. But the highlight was walking the beach at night to watch sea turtles nest & hatch. A lovely place.

The massage setup at this hotel is incredible - individual huts along the waterside. Local mayan women gave amazing massages. The mayan clay massage was soothing, relaxing, and detoxing! Try the belly massage!

I have stayed at Maya Tulum 4 times in the past 4 years, a week for each stay. I attend specific teacher retreats. Each year the seaweed or "red tide" has gotten worse. Last year from our ocean front cabana there was a continuous stream of a bulldozer moving the raked up rotting piles and depositing them off the beach just... More

I cannot repeat enough how wonderful this spot is! Includes dining & yoga even tho I was here with a private group , all are welcome. I would feel comfortable returning solo here. Spa facilities offer traditional Mexican or Mayan treatments. My favorite was the "Mayan clay" massage . The abundantly stocked juice bar helped me detox & reset. So... More

Only good words come to mind for Maya Tulum. I had the most wonderful, recharging and relaxing time. The staff were all wonderful, the food was fantastic and the setting beautiful. Topped off with snorkelling, ancient ruins and massages too, what a treat to have had the chance to visit. For me choosing here was the best choice I could... More

The best part of this resort was the extremely responsive and friendly staff. Everyone was so nice which attributed to a wonderful and restorative vacation. Any question or request was promptly answered. I traveled here in July/August, which is likely the hottest time of the year. My room had air conditioning (which I highly recommend during summer), which made sleeping... More
