Certificate of Excellence
Entirely built and renovated by Mayan craftsmen (and all of the team here at the hostel), CHILL INN is an established and trusted hostel in Tulum with a unique family / chilled vibe, staff who will do anything in their power for the guests (also known to give the best advice on things to do) and what makes us stand out from the rest even more we serve easily the best breakfast in town (don't miss out on the delicious homemade salsa!). The palapa style huts not only transport you to an era long (or almost?) lost, but also provide a cool place to sleep and relax after a day of exploring Tulum's beaches, cenotes and pueblo. We have 3 8-bed mixed dorms (recently reduced from 10 to make more room) and 1 4-bed dorm with AC. The beds are comfortable, spacious, and includes a personal fan, light, power socket and curtains for privacy. This is the place to really feel like you have arrived at the Mayan Riviera and the best place to chill out, meet new people, have fun and feel at home.

There’s not even signage outside, like a speak-easy. Great for backpackers and under-30’s. Spontaneous parties. Really, really nice team really making every effort to help out where they can, but a bit too relaxed perhaps for some people.

Best hostel in Tulum for sure. Stayed there 3 nights, I wish I could have stayed longer... Nice welcoming staff, always ready to help you, free bicycles for rent and awesome breakfast. 10 mins away from bus station and 30 from the beach.
