The cabanas are adorable with sturdy walls and a thatched roof and located about 40 feet from the ocean. Sounds of the waves made for a delightful nightly lullaby. I can't say enough about the staff. They helped arrange adventures in the surrounding area which is rich in an assortment of geological, ecological and historic opportunities. Miguel was particularly helpful....

My mom and I just got back from our trip to Tulum. We had never been before and weren't really sure what to expect. WOW! The Cabanas are beautiful. We stayed in the Robinson. It is right on the beach. You can hear the waves at night and feel the breeze. It was wonderful. The hotel staff was also incredible....

The location of these cabanas is just perfect! The cabanas are right at the oceanfront and there is a most beautiful and peaceful beach in front of the cabanas. The decoration of the cabanas is carefully thought of, with lots of Mexican style colorful details. We stayed in Captain Dale's Quarter which is right at the beach with a big...

We have stayed at La Luna five times in the past seven years for a week or two each stay…enjoying the charming rooms, attentive and informed staff, delicious well-prepared food, and soft sandy beachfront location. Each year we notice changes and this year was not different. For example, there is a diesel generator now that ensures consistent electricity. The presence...

My wife and I spent three nights in the Christopher Columbus cabana and could not have been happier with our stay. The small hotel offers the best location to take in all the peace and tranquility that Tulum beach has to offer. The oceanfront room is simple and small but quite functional. The staff is terrific and quick to attend...

We stayed at La Luna for five days in January. It was perfect! It's right on the beach, so you walk through sand to get to your cabana. We were in Marrakech, which has a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. Because we were two friends, having two queen sized beds was perfect for us. I appreciated the five gallon water...

We stayed in Captain Dale's Quarters in November 2016. Captain Dale's quarters is right on the beach and looks exactly as beautiful as in the pictures on the website. The other canabanas are only steps away too, with Villa Zanzibar the furthest away - probably 30 yards. The garden suite had the least appealing location in my opinion, Captain Dale's...

My wife and I loved our stay at La Luna! It was exactly what we were looking for in a more remote, beach getaway. The staff was very nice and accommodating, and we appreciated the visibility of hotel security throughout our stay. The beach location was amazing and well kept. The room was on the smaller side but we knew...

Enjoyed Cabanas La Luna and the interesting assembly of eclectic cabanas. From the tiny Robinson Crusoe circular floor plan room with bath to the their high end cabana with its own private pool. Its a boutique property where there is something for anyone. The restaurant food saws sometimes excellent and always good. Location right on the beach with private hotel...

My family and my two children loved this location and continue to ask to go back constantly. It's a great spot to start from, visiting other restaurants or resorts, or going to the ruins. You MUST visit here

“Marco Polo. Fairytale atmosphere. Spacious room with airconditioning and a large private terrace. The view is not completely unobstructed, but this is really not a big problem since the obstruction consists of thatched roofs and palm trees. You still have seaview.”
