This place is heaven on earth. We stayed for three nights in March for our honeymoon and were met with warm service, a great ocean front room and a beautiful beach. The service on the beach was literally perfect - friendly, not too much, not too little. Food (sushi, pizza,

BRING YOUR OWN WATER! OK - first things first: Tulum is officially past its prime. Too many man-buns. Too many selfie-taking, self-absorbed people trying too hard to be cool. Too many bartenders self-identifying as "mixologists" with their ridiculous cocktail shaking antics.

Dear Simarkusa, Thank you for your review. We understand that Tulum is not your favorite place and this is a personal opinion. Although it is important to mention that the seaweed is a natural phenomenon that affects the entire caribbean and unfortunately comes and goes. Casa Malca always does the best to keep the beach clean for our guests and visitors. We appreciate your comments regarding the facilities and the staff. It is important to mention that the breakfast service is not included, and it is not mandatory. It is suggested and you can remove it from your bill. Unfortunately Tulum is located in the middle of the jungle, for that reason it is not ideal to consume the water from the tap. Here in Casa Malca we have our own water treatment system so our guests can have treated water in the rooms and common areas. We also offer 2 bottles of complimentary waters per day in the room. Best regards,

The location of the hotel is beautiful and stunning but you do not get the service one can expect from a hotel with such a price tag. When we checked in late at night the room was full of mosquitoes and it took a long time until someone would come and help and spray. We left

Hello. We had are concierge make some calls but only to find out the details of how a day trip would go. Try to find a cab that knows the area well as the front entrance gate is a little hard to notice.

Hi! What are the requirements to use the beach club?
When you are a guest at the hotel, I guess no requirement. They just ask you for your room number when you order cocktails :) Enjoy !

it's okay, but you have music playing all day by the pool... The beach is quiet...

"We liked our Oceanview Master Suite because it had beautiful views but you still had privacy of being one floor up from the ground floor."
"Don't spend $800 a night... My room was nice but not worth $800. Perhaps I am too spoiled because I live in Miami Beach?"
"I only visit this place with my daughter for a full day; It's very calm, gorgeous and relaxing..I highly recommended"
"Look for the railroad crossing off the main road."
"Not all rooms have decks or balconies"
