We stayed in the garden room, 2 adults and 2 kids. The view from the room was stunning, and it is truly a break from the city, pure unspoilt natural surroundings and a great base for exploring Connemara, Galway and Mayo. My partner and I stayed 2 nights at the grasshopper cottage. We have been traveling trough Ireland for several weeks staying at b&b's and this one is our favorite so far! Beautiful scenery and great hosts! We highly recommend this place to any travelers!

Sorcha's place is just perfect, rooms are very pleasant, we were 5 friends to stop there and had good time going to the local pub and fishing on the lake. You should ask Sorcha to rent a boat for fishing or just to visit the lake, we stopped on a smal island for lunch it was great. Walking around is...

It was great to be back again enjoying the warm hospitality of Roy and Sorcha. The setting and the Doorus peninsular which runs out into Lough Corrib is quite spectacular and thought they cater for trout fishermen mainly it is a lovely place to stay to explore the region.

We have just stayed again at Grasshopper with some scottish friends. We have stayed at Grasshopper many times both for fishing and with the family and have always found our stay a relaxing and pleasant one. Wow! What a great place to go to just relax, take a hike or take in a day of fishing. Great accommodations, great hospitality, and a beautiful view from our room. I would highly recommend this place.
