We stayed here the first 4 nights of our 2-week Italy trip and it was a perfect choice for us. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment on the second floor with a view down across the Rio Sordo and Tre Stelle vineyards with the Tower of Barbaresco in the distance (though not far). We hiked to Barbaresco, through the vineyards... More

Cascina delle Rose was the first place we stayed in a 2.5 week trip to Italy and I will always have fond memories of my stay there. The accommodations were excellent -- this was a family trip with two couples and a single and we stayed in the large apartment that has three bedrooms, three baths, kitchen, and living room.... If you are looking for a family-run agriturismo where the family has been making wine for generations and makes you feel at home, you must check out this magical place. Rooms are very comfortable and rustic with stunning views. Riccardo was tremendously helpful with planning our visit - every reservation he made for us was phenomenal. This place had a... More

We returned to Cascina Delle Rose after first visiting in 2009, and are experience was just a wonderful as the first time. Host Ricardo was attentive, informative and communicative, taking up where his mother Giovanna had left off. He hosted a superb wine tasting and toured us around the vineyard with loads of information about the grape growing and winemaking... More

I had a wonderful 5-day stay at Cascina delle Rose in October, 2015. My room on the second floor was great, with an amazing view of their vineyards. Riccardo was a perfect host - very helpful and gave great recommendations for wineries, restaurants, and hiking. Nice continental breakfast with cappuccinos. The winery is attached - be sure to taste their... More

I and my wife stayed this lovely winery 4 days on this October. the weather was beautiful, we have the magnificent Alps in far distance. See my attached photo. Host Ricardo is a master of wine and grappa making. His wine and grappa are wonderful. Especially the grappa tastes very similar as China $1,000 a bottle the very best MaoTai... More

Full disclosure: we did not stay here in the B&B. However, we did have a lovely visit to their winery. Ricardo was a super host. The wines we tasted (and purchased!) were luscious. We enjoyed seeing how their great Barbarescos are made. As with most wineries in Italy, a visit and tasting should be arranged ahead of time, though I... More

First of all, Cascina is located perfectedly, on top of a beautifull hill (where they grow a nearly perfect barbaresco, one of my favorites, the Rio Sordo). Its super to wake up in the morning with the view of all this natural beauty! Second, the people are jsut amazing. They helped us so so much to get everything we could... More

Everything about our stay was just perfect: the room, the family, the scenery, and their wines! The view from our ground floor appartment over their vineyard was just spectacular. We'll be back next year that's for sure!
