First time camping experience for my son so i wanted something more organised than a wild camp, but not something that felt like a holiday park, and this fit the bill perfectly. It has everything you could want, clean toilets and showers, A fridge and freezer, washing up facilities, even hot water bottles and spare blankets for those really cold nights, but all kept at arms length. The owner, Julia, was very nice and helpful. We will be booking again next year.

What an amazing experience!!! We stayed in one of the Lotus Belle tents and absolutely loved it. The beds were so comfy, we all got a solid nights sleep - which can be somewhat rare when camping! Waking up in the morning to a view of lavender and the sound of cockerel is what everyone should experience at least once in their lives! The location is stunning with views of countryside as far as the eye can see. The local village was picturesque and we followed the advice to visit The Lion for a pizza in their beer garden! The best thing about Finchingfield were the people. Julia and Ben were so friendly and helpful, full of idea on what to do & see, gave a great induction to the tent and campsite, and were fantastic with our 2 small people... letting them put the geese, ducks and chickens to bed and helping feed them in the morning! They really have thought of everything to make this an unforgettable stay!! Thanks Finchingfield!…

Beautiful, peaceful, small site. Pitches well spaced out and come with composting toilet, picnic bench and fire pit. Plenty of room for our campervan. Julia was lovely and gave us advice on some local cycling routes. We visited the Lion in Finchingfield on her recommendation and had a lovely pizza. Sat out well into the night with fire watching the bats and stars. Perfect.

We stopped here for a long weekend and was not disappointed. We had a lovely relaxing stay. The pitch was well-sized and some distance from the neighbours. Each pitch has its own composting toilet that was well maintained and perfectly serviceable. The showered were simple but perfect for some off-grid camping. The site itself is beautiful with loads of space dedicated to ‘wilding’ and as such bursting with wildlife. A few pleasant hours spent lazing in the calmness of the lavender field and the on site cafe was perfect for that little sweet or savour treat. Julia and her team were the icing on the cake. They made our stay feel L just that more special. Thanks team!

Myself and my partner took a 5 hr trip to finchingfield campsite and we were not disappointed! It was absolutely beautiful and Julia was always on hand to help us out with any questions and directing us to the nearest shops and taxi firms. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous and we look forward to visiting again! Thankyou so much for the best experience 💘

One of the nicest campsites you could possibly visit. Julia is super friendly and helpful and wants you to have the best stay possible. Each pitch has its own fancy composting toilet (which doesn't smell!), a fire pit and a bench. The size of the pitch is plenty big enough and has stunning views out to the peaceful countryside. The eco showers are clean and have plenty of hooks for dry towels and clothes, and there is a washing up station which has some special touches such as washing up liquid, dishcloths and hot water bottles if you get a little cool at night. There is a shed with a fridge and a freezer and you can charge your electricals too. There is a luxurious cafe in a Lotus Belle tent where you can have afternoon tea or buy lavender products to enjoy at home. We have stayed twice now and have already booked for next year...we can't wait! ❤️…
