Highly recommended! Great place to stay, friendly hosts with attention to detail, wide choice of organic foods. Cyclist friendly, with spare covers and tools if needed. Also, possibility of massage of quality if required.

This b&b advertises themselves as pet friendly - however will not allow you to use their garden to let your dog out. Instead you are expected to walk down the road to one of the local corner shops where there is some grass. (Hugely inconvenient last thing at night and first

Response from Paul S, Joint Owner at Circles Bed & Breakfast
Responded 2 Nov 2018
A negative comment from 2 young girls whose behaviour from the beginning of their stay in my house was frankly astonishing! In the six years i have owned, lived and worked in my B&B, the majority of guests have been very pleasant, well mannered and well behaved in my house. There have only been a few times, thankfully, that I have experienced behaviour which has been unbelievably disrespectful. This is one of them. Firstly, Paul and I have no control over who decides to stay at our B&B, but I adore animals and am happy to accept well behaved ones and their owners! In this case the dog arrived without prior notice accompanied by a very large cage which was great although not a prerequisite. He/she was only a small spaniel and very friendly but excited to the point he/she was even trailing urine across the carpet. I therefore suggested he/she might want to go for a walk and recommended a place just along the road as a good place to let the dog do its business; there was no mention or request made of taking the dog into the garden. My garden is only a small postage stamp size and you could imagine what it would be like if all the dogs who stayed at my B&B were to use it at the convenience of its owners! Secondly, I was startled and woken up by a loud banging of the front door on Sunday morning at 12.30am; followed, by people talking loudly in the breakfast room. So I thought to go and investigate and saw 3 young girls, eating takeaways and helping themselves to items from my kitchen. One of them was even an uninvited guest which in itself is an unbelievable breach of acceptable behaviour and whom also gave a lot of back chat about this being a communal area, something not discussed with the officially booked guests and therefore simply assumed. We do not allow takeaways in the house as food is also available at the B&B in the evenings and we wish to avoid unpleasant smells and stains for the comfort of all; this is clearly communicated and stayed on the ‘Welcome to your room’ notices in each of the rooms. In my house this sort of behaviour and disregard for our rules is not acceptable. Anyway, the 3 young girls were drunk and being very challenging at early o’clock and the guest whose bedroom is by the front door came out to complain about the noise. After that the young girls then decided to take their food and go and eat elsewhere. I decided to sit down and wait to see what happened next. The owners of the animal minus the 3rd person came back into the house and went to their room. I could hear banging and slamming of the cage door and thought “maybe they have decided to pack their things and leave”; I was right as this is what they proceeded to do. This was a Saturday night and the house was full of other guests. Not all animals are made equal, some can even speak English! Paul and I have decided for now to continue with this business of owning and running our family home as a B&B and do our best to accommodate and be hospitable to whomever, as evidenced by the majority of reviews from our guests. Thank you to all of you who have made the experience a happy one so far. Sadie Cornish-Smith

We cycled along the canal and arrived in Pewsey earlier than we had expected. We were very tired and I had forgotten about the 5.30 check in time. The 4 of us found some grass and had a nap until the Circles opened. We had booked two rooms and we were expecting to share a
