We were really pleased with the accommodation, Sandbank. It was very comfortable and clean and everything we required for a short holiday. Martin and Nicky were very welcoming and helpful, providing useful information about the local area. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again.
Absolutely everything about this place is excellent. The room had everything you needed and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful including fresh fruit and home made muesli.Martin and Nicky couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Would certainly stay again if visiting the area. Would recommend unreservedly
We stayed at Church Lodge for our trip to the Goodwood festival of speed. Great location, just 9 miles to Goodwood, and 3 miles away from West Wittering beach. Chichester is just round the corner too. Martin and Nicky are superb hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed in Sandbank. Comfortable and clean, everything was spot on. Thanks for your excellent hospitality.
We spent 2 nights in July staying at Church Lodge in the double room Sandbanks, which is its own self contained mini suite with kitchenette, fridge, fold down table and own front door. This really is a wonderful relaxing, quiet place to stay with beautiful garden overlooking the village cricket pitch, luxurious rooms and lovely outside garden / seating areas. If you like cycling it is a wonderful way to get around to beaches, marinas, local pubs etc and is right next to the Salterns Way cycle path.
We were in the area for a wedding and stayed for 3 days and absolutely loved our stay. The hosts Martin and Nicky were really welcoming and even cooked fresh bread every morning for breakfast! The place itself is delightful, the bed was really comfy and there was a lovely vibe and it felt a real home from home. Lots to do in the area with the marina and impressive beaches nearby so would have liked to have stayed longer. We'll definitely be staying here again and couldn't recommend it enough.
"Outstanding in every way. Nothing was too much trouble to ensure we were relaxed and enjoying our stay. Superb location for walking, cycling, exploring by car, horse riding and eating at local first class hostelries as well as shopping!!. Our third visit and more to come! Nicki and Martin go out of their way to make sure your stay is first class in every way".
We had a lovely stay here for a couple of nights, wish we could have stayed longer..! Made to feel very welcome by the hosts Martin & Nicky, in their beautiful home. Our room was very clean and comfortable, peaceful and well equipped with everything we could possibly need...including a little fridge, with fresh milk and a bottle of wine! Lots of little extra's that aren't usually found in B & B's such as, toiletries, fresh flowers & bath robes..! Excellent breakfast, with home made bread, cereals and fresh fruits.. We would highly recommend to stay here...
Stayed here for Easter , the ensuite twin bedded room was very clean and tidy and Martin and Nicky were very hospitable . all in all a good location for Chichester and the sea. Good breakfast and a friendly dog!
My sister and mother and I stayed at Church Lodge during a weekend break by the coast. Nicky and Martin were wonderful hosts and looked after our every need including a Sunday morning Pilates class! A really beautiful place to stay with so many thoughtful touches. I would highly recommend staying at Church Lodge.
We stayed for two nights at this fabulous B&B in December. The location is just a few minutes drive to the Witterings and a short walk through beautiful countryside to Chichester Marina. Facilities are well thought out with lots of little touches such as a pot of Neroli scented hand and body cream plus a stash of magazines to relax with. The shower was fine, although I was delighted to find a bath tub to soak in at the end of our walk. The lodge is set apart from the main building and boasts a huge bed, a flat screen TV, bathroom, loo, entrance hall and your own front door. Breakfast is taken in the conservatory of the house and is absolutely fantastic - everything you could want including great quality fresh fruit, home made muesli and a cracking fry up. We had an excellent dinner on both nights at The Lamb - five minutes drive away. I would definitely recommend.…
