Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After reading some pretty bad reviews still decided to stay at the hotel. they said they were walking distance from Orly 4.they are. The overhead walkway takes you directly to hotel. Lifts at both ends. Checked in at 2330 staff were really friendly and helpful, for an airport hotel room was large beds were really good.very clean and no noise at all from the road and airport. Great stay great price will use again

Just to be clear this is my 1st negative review EVER as a loyal ibis member of 20 yrs! We had 2 backpacks stolen from us as we were checking out in plain view of their employees who were 3' away. When mgt failed to respond to our inquiries we finally left the next day as we felt unsafe. & when this issue was finally addressed by Accor/Ibis 3 weeks later after mush pressing on our part we were simply advised to be more 'vigilant' & no compensation was offered not even for the extra night stay or meals. I strongly recommend that you NOT stay at this hotel and if you do & have issues be aware that ibis/accor will NOT respond. Finally this is NOT an isolated incident as searching for 'theft' in tripadvisor reviews produced 2 other recent theft reports (1 of which gave me the idea for my subject line here)!

Response from Stéphanie HANIER, General Manager at ibis Paris Coeur d'Orly Airport
Responded 27 Dec 2023
Dear Efbolton, I understand that you feel upset about the situation, and we also feel that way. However, it's important to note that leaving belongings unattended, even for a short period, carries a risk. We were able to accompany and assist you as best as possible when the incident occurred. Your thanks at that time were appreciated, and we are now surprised about what you wrote about us. I'm sorry that your experience was troubling, but we acted in accordance with our procedures and available means to assist and support our guests in difficult situations like yours. To be transparent, there were only one other case this year. We cannot accept let you say that it is something usual in our hotel. If you have any further concerns or questions, I'm always ready to assist you to the best of my ability. Best regards, Marion Deputy Manager

I arrived late and was assured that my room had an airport view as requested. Next morning I wasn’t happy to be facing a courtyard ! A very helpful young lady allowed to move for the rest of my stay but I didn’t like being lied to on the first night. One of the booking sites says that the walkway over to the hotel is a moving one - it is decidedly static with 52 steps ! Beware too of the room sockets - I took 2 standard Euro adaptors which just fell out of the large holes so it wasn’t possible to charge any devices - I was told to buy an adaptor from a vending machine in the lobby - (at a cost of €14!) Both rooms were clean enough but hardly comfortable with the usual standard of Ibis furniture - certainly not superior

Very convenient for the airport the hotel has a bright modern exterior. Check in was swift and efficient. Our room was however, one of many located in a separate building behind the modern section. Although mostly clean the decor was many, many years old with woodchip wallpaper in old dark cream and burgundy. Fittings were constructed of some kind of chipboard and looked hand made by amateurs. The bathroom, equally old, had a small plastic triangular shower, the walls were black in places where mould had been removed but still stained. The towels were very small and very thin. The curtain was a heavy plastic coated kind of ‘fabric’ which was I’ll fitting. Plus points - comfortable bed and very little external noise. I have never stayed in such a poor room and definitely would not recommend.

We stayed here the last night in Paris having an early flight. We will never stay at this hotel again! The bedroom was inadequate, bed was dirty, sheets were rough, pillows too hard. Having a sink facing the bed and no mirror in front nor wall didn't make any sense. This hotel felt like a cheap 2 star hotel. Unfortunately at $160/night, the price just doesn't reflect the bad quality of this hotel. The only good thing is the welcoming staff.

Due to a cancelled flight we had to book an emergency hotel. What a find this was. This hotel is situated on Orly Paris Air Port, You can access all terminals by foot using the sky walk over Max of 20 mins walk to far terminal. there is a shuttle bus but it is not reliable. This hotel had excellent facilities for buffet hot / cold breakfast, lunch menu and again buffet evening meal. The rooms were some of the best i have ever stayed in and very comfortable. There is also a bar at the facility, vending machines for drinks, snacks and emergency supplies

Due to an early morning flight I checked into the Ibis Coeur d'Orly. Very convenient walk (5 mins from Terminal 4. ) However the rooms were appalling, the bathroom was dirty, there were holes in the door, dirty marks on the wall. No facilities in the rooms, overall for €122 bad value. I did not eat at the hotel as they did not deserve any business at inflated prices. I would have had a better room in the Ibis budget hotel next door. I will not be returning soon.

Long long walk from the airport. Line out the door to check in - poorly staffed. To be fair the staff was nice and it is not their fault that they don't have adequate help . But people don't stay at airport hotels more than one night usually so you'd think they would be staffed better for all the tired travelers showing up at night to get into a room. There is no online check in or any way to avoid the line. Pricy buffet breakfast that was gross- yogurt bowls dribbling yogurt and fruit, eggs you can cook in the cooker mixed up- raw and hardboiled all together. Tables not cleaned well. Rooms are spartan at best and bathrooms look like a boat's. If you add up the breakfast and the room charge- this isn't a budget place at all and you can definitely do better. As we checked out I asked the desk clerk where the car rental was and she had no idea. Can't recommend this place.

As we reached Orly airport before midnight, we decided to stay at the nearby hotel. It took us around 10 minutes to reach the hotel by foot from the airport. Check-in process was quick. Our room was on the ground floor, quite small. Quite a long walk to reach the room from the lobby. We took a shower and had a good rest. This is a no-frill hotel, nothing to shout about. They have couple of vending machines at the lobby. Quite a good selection for breakfast. We checked out after breakfast and booked uber service to town.
