The staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable. The food is very good. The rooms are clean, comfortable and lovely. The views over breakfast are stunning. Although the B&B is right next to the A68, you can't hear the traffic. My only downside (which wouldn't stop me from staying here again), was you could hear people in the bar below, I'm...

A delicious hot Bacon and Brie roll with Rocket salad and a large glass of Merlot was soon whipped up. Breakfast is 08:00 - 09:00, possibly a little late if you prefer...

the most tasty and well cooked belly pork I have ever had .Nicely cooked whitebait to start . The well kept Adnams was excellent . Not been here for a spell - definite incentive to come back more regularly.

We booked the Manor House Inn as we were attending a friends wedding nearby. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Our room was Partridge, which overlooks the front of the inn and a great size for one night. The furniture and decor was nice and the shower in the bathroom was very powerful. We had a quick bite...

We had two nights at the MHI during autumn's half term 2016. It's a superb place; the food is excellent, the beds are comfortable, the views are stunning and the staff are fantastically helpful. A brilliant place, we can't wait to go back!!

Visited this place before and always had great food with a good specials board including different dishes. This time visited on a Sunday and had Pork which was cooked superbly especially the crackling. Didn't have a dessert as too full from main meal. Highly recommended
