Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Parga is beautiful, perhaps a little crowded, but with history, beautiful scenery and the friendly Greek people it's no wonder, the hotel is quiet and comfortable, we had a Villa with a great view and pool not to mention the huge comfy beds, but what made our holiday were the staff, who made us feel like old friends from the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for them, it was like being looked after by a large family and we all miss them as much as our lovely villa which is a new experience for me in 40 years of travel, stop reading this and go there now. The good stuff - nice modern hotel when you arrive. Absolutely wonderful staff, helpful, courteous and nothing seemed too much trouble. The indifferent stuff - we had two days of rain and a dull day. The hot water disappeared. I suspect the main power for this is solar but after two / three days the hot water went to tepid at best. There was a sort of explanation about the back up system takes time to get water to the rooms, but two days? Poolside. Two parasols for ten sunbeams - not enough, and one of those was ripped with exposure to the sun - as were the 'curtains' round the restaurant area. And some of the sun bed covers were dirty. It looked very tired, it needs money spending on it. One last issue. The hotel is about a mile out of town. Easy to walk down the hill into ton, but you wouldn't want to walk back in 30C. But there are only 10 cabs in the whole town. You will queue and wait for a cab back. And on transfer days, don't even think about getting a cab before 15.00. Not a problem with the hotel but something to be aware of.

If I owned a Hotel I would want the staff to be as helpful, friendly and happy as the Salvator team. They go above and beyond to make people’s holiday experience enjoyable. We really enjoyed staying here. It’s clean with lovely rooms. Breakfast was pleasant and the restaurant food was very good. The walk into Parga is downhill and takes around 15 mins. We tended to use the shuttle bus at either 6.30pm or 7.30pm for an evening in town and return on the 10.30pm. The bus was reliable and punctual. A taxi to the hotel is 6 euro. The bar is open when you get back. They have happy hour 6-7 when all cocktails are 6 euros. The hotel does require some maintenance around the pool which we expect will be rectified for the new season. More umbrellas are needed for shade, glass by the pool needs cleaning and some sun bed cushions are looking quite stained. Water temperature could also be temperamental when showering. Salvator made our experience of Parga very good. Trips out can be arranged with the hotel. Staff provide a personal touch and guests have a lovely quiet environment to relax and enjoy the great view to the sea.

The hotel is amazing. It has everything you can ask for. Everything in the rooms is carefully chosen and placed. But what impressed us the most was the staff. Kind, friendly, willing to help you at any moment.

We spent 5 days at this beautiful villa, staying at their two-bedrooms suite with a spacious living room and a kitchen. The hotel owners Antonis and his brother are very helpful and friendly. The staff did a fantastic job arranging our excursions and drivers. They always greeted us with big smiles. The suite is very clean and well maintained. We will for sure come back to visit them!

On first glance the hotel looks beautiful. The view is magnificent. But the hotel sits alongside a noisy road and it is a very steep hill down into town. Not really walkable back up after an evening in town. But there is a complementary shuttle bus that runs at fairly inconvenient times! The staff here literally save this place, they are extremely helpful and friendly. However, this is not a four star hotel. It may have been once but not anymore. Everything is tired and much needs replacing. I usually stay in a budget apartment/ hotel so it’s not as if I have really high expectations! The sunshades around the pool were hanging in tatters! The pool towels were ragged and the only meal we had in the restaurant (gyros) was genuinely revolting. No meat at all in the gyros, it was ALL fat. I had to send it back. Wondered why absolutely nobody else ate there apart from the breakfast (which was ok but again not. 4*). The pool was a dubious colour. It looked as if at some point it had been completely green and then either treated or re-filled with clean water but the sides and rim were still green in places. Again, something I’ve never seen in any of the places I’ve stayed before. The grass could’ve done with a cut too! I felt as if the place was being run on a very tight budget to be honest. Which doesn’t really give you a four star experience. On the plus side Lychnos beach is beautiful as is Parga town!

Amazing place with fantastic staff and management. The service was excellent, and the staff were so helpful. We highly recommend this wonderful place. The breakfast was great with the view of Parga, and the rooms were spotless. Thank you, guys, for your great hospitality.

The reception team are outstanding! Noni, Dim & Vicky could not do enough for us, believe me they helped us out so many times even to driving us up to a neighboring restaurant in Dim's own car! Top marks! Bar and restaurant staff are just as friendly, nothing is too much trouble! Everyone at the hotel is at your service at any time of the day. Bar and restaurant give great service. Pool area relaxing and lit up at night - excellent. Our Junior Suite was extremely spacious and well equipped for our needs. Balcony faced the sea view. Bed very comfortable. Additional air con very welcome as we were here when it was 38 degrees! There are no negatives to report here and we are booking again as soon as they have room! Thanks to every one!

Wow! Where should I begin. We just returned from a week at Salvator in Parga. We celebrated my girlfriend's 40th birthday. We could not have chosen a better hotel. The staff is amazing. So kind, friendly and helpful. We stayed for a week and everything at the hotel went really smoothly. Nice view of the sea and Parga town. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus 3 times a day and otherwise a taxi to town costs 6 €. The location is super if you are looking for a nice and peaceful stay. We stayed in a superior room which has a private pool. The room was above expectations. It was big, spacious, fresh and had a small kitchenette and everything you could wish for. The terrace offered well needed shade, while the pool had sun from 11 am until sunset. The breakfast was amazing. The restaurant is relly good. The hotel bar offered happy hour twice a day and the bartenders are real pros. We have travelled a lot and stayed in 5 star resorts around the world and Salvator (eventhough not a high end luxury hotel) is by far one of the best we've ever stayed in. /Charlotta and Martin

We had a fabulous 2 weeks stay in our villa. The reception team (Dina, Vicky & Noni) & the bar team were so wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They recommended beaches, restaurants, excursions, spa treatments & more. We had hired a car that was invaluable to travel to other beaches like Loutsa (Vrachos) & Sarakiniko. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Food & cocktails were sublime, too. Regular shuttle bus into/from Parga was a great bonus.
