We had an average room (No 16) with single beds. There was a fridge and safe. The bathroom had a bath with a handheld spray extension. The bedroom opened out to a slightly enclosed patio/garden area. There was a swimming pool with slightly difficult access. It was cold and not particularly clean. There was a seediness to the swimming pool...

Overall a pleasant hotel in the main square of the town. The room we had was perfectly ok and had a small area for sitting out as well. The dinner was the best bit of our stay with really good food. Everything was clean and well organised.

We had a nice family room which can accommodate 4 people facing the mountain with an amazing view. The hotel restaurant is great and propose nice and qualitative menus and surrounded with caring staff.

A country inn with good views, watched games of pelote from the hotel bar terrace. Worth visiting the village church with a wooden galleried interior. Clean room. Suitable for overnight stop. Bit tatty round the car park and outside our room. The biggest stag beetle you have ever seen came into our room from the scruffy patio/ garden area outside...

wanted to stay near Espelette to buy the famous peppers so picked this hotel because of the restaurant reviews. Really excellent food for the 20 euro fixed menu though there was a more expensive option and a la carte too. the fact that the place was full on a Monday evening in November says it all, The rooms were basic...

We stayed at the Hotel du Fronton 8 years ago and loved it so much we decided to go back. The hotel has now been extended with about 12 extra rooms in a brand new chalet called Agian just across the road. Our large tastefully decorated bedroom had a large comfortable bed, generous cupboards and a lovely bathroom fitted with...

We stayed one night here, arriving on foot from our previous hotel (a walking holiday) We were really glad to find the room had an air-conditioning unit as the weather was very hot. The room decor was stylish and we had a small balcony which looked over the carpark towards the beautiful Pyrennean foothills. The bathroom was big. It was...

Convenient location if a visit to the Pyrenees is on your agenda. The motel was clean and the staff were friendly even if they were a little more interested in watching their TV program than checking us in and made errors with our account on our departure,at least they happily corrected the error. We stayed 3 nights and it was...

The hotel is located in the center of the village near the "Fronton" hence its name. Fronton is a wall against which the "Basque pelota" is played. You find them in most Basque villages. The "Hôtel du Fronton" is an old building (the walls and floors are not all leveled) with a lot of charm. For instance our bed was...
