Was there for three weeks this winter. Made a reservation for next winter for 5 month. Very central location within three blocks of main square. Many good and budget restaurant's in area. Pool is unheated. Nice garden with fountain and sitting area. Old section has chairs outside your room to relax in. Attached restaurant severs quality food. A place to... More

We are a family of four with two girls age 11, 15. We wanted them to have an authentic Mexican experience on our vacation. This place fit the bill. The staff are courteous and friendly. The location is excellent. There is a nice relaxing courtyard in the middle and the rooms are humble but with a lot of charm. One... More

This is a nicely maintained old hotel (old as in built back in the 1960s, more or less, not old as in Colonial) that is ideally located in the center of town. I hear some of the rooms are small, but my wife and I were given a very large room that had lots of countertops and tables on which... More

Although we didn't stay in the hotel, we regularly ate breakfast in their restaurant. The service was good and quite attentive, the food was marvellous. I highly recommend the huevos divorciados (divorced eggs). Yolks were cooked to perfection every time, and the fried potato gratin that accompanied the meal was yummy, not to mention the salsa verde which had the... More

Many in our group had stayed here over the years. There was one family staying here again this time. The rooms were nice and charming. We had lunch here and it was a lovely homestyle meal. Most of us ordered the complete lunch. It was 5 courses of yumminess: soup, salad, main course, dessert, and a drink. There were many... More

I paid about $30/night, which I thought was a great deal. Credit cards accepted. Huge room with fan. Very clean. Wifi. Ten minutes of hot water in the shower, which was just enough. Excellent restaurant onsite--great breakfasts for a pittance. Location was a short walk from the Plaza Mayor. Friendly staff. Tranquil and serene atmosphere. Hard to leave...

.....for many years. The family who runs it are very accomodating. The restaurant with the sweet little indian ladies as waitresses and the good food. Great simple breakfasts. The "commida corrida" (businessman's brunch) has five delicious courses. Good food. Good clean, safe hotel that surrounds a beautiful central garden. If you want TV ask for one of the new rooms.... Two of us shared a room, and the other two of us had our own room. Spic and Span clean. Bottled water supplied. Lovely grounds (they were working on them each day we were there), with pool (Feb. was too cool to swim), and awesome restaurant. Good service, delicious food (try banana nut pancakes and French toast with their homemade... More

I paid $475 without a tv and it suited me just fine. Beautiful view outside. Clean rooms with free bottled water and daily cleaning service. I never had any problem here, but I would have perfered a deadbolt on the door rather than just a simple push in lock. Great location.
