This was my 14th (yes, you read that correctly) stay at Las Terrazas and I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. We think of it as our Mexican home and are made to feel that way also. I have stayed in Casa Mariposa 13 times and this time--since I was traveling without my husband--I stayed in Casa Colibri and it... More

I have never rented any vacation spot sight unseen but decided to go to Las Terrazas based on the great reviews on Trip Advisor. My first words to Greg, the owner, when I entered Casita Colibiri were, " the photos don't do it justice!" Casita Colibri is a very large studio with windows across the entire front of the casita... My husband and I spent three weeks at Las Terrazas in January, 2016. Our casa, Mariposa, was sunny, clean, and comfortable, and our breakfasts varied and well prepared. Our host, Greg, was on premise to provide as much (or little) support needed for our first visit to San Miguel and the surrounding area. The location was just a short distance... More

This was my Best B&B stay ever. From the time I arrived I was greeted at the entrance by my fabulous host Greg who escorted me and my luggage up the stairs to the most wonderful private villa. Upon entrance I totally fell in love with home for the next nine days. Greg invited me up to his villa to... More

We just spent a week at Las Terrazas and the first word that comes to mind is "perfection"! We have longed to visit San Miguel and were inspired by it's beauty. But to have Las Terrazas and Casa Grillo as our home made the entire experience exceptional. Greg is the perfect host and his thoughtfulness was so appreciated. His knowledge... More

Las Terrazas and Greg Johnson were perfect! Las Terrazas is a beautiful and charming bed and breakfast. Each casita is beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, kitchen, sitting area, fireplace & patio. Did I mention the view? Also easy walk to the center of San Miguel where it's all happening. The markets, restaurants, church's, and plaza's. Our stay at Las Terrazas and... More

We recently stayed with friends at this wonderful spot in San Miguel for over a week. Absolutely , the best location for access to the jardin , restaurants , shops, and we enjoyed the celebrations surrounding the "Day of the Dead" . We had a fantastic experience in San Miguel de Allende. We have been hearing from friends about this charming Colonial Community for years. The town is amazing. I thought we were in Europe with the narrow cobblestone streets and mysterious open court yards behind every door. Lass Terrazas is one of the best finds. It is an elegant grouping of... More

We recently returned from our 13th (yes 13th) stay at Las Terrazas. We always stay in Casa Mariposa and consider it our 2nd home. I could write endlessly about how much we love San Miguel and Las Terrazas each and every time we visit but I'm afraid I would say the same thing every time. There is no place you... More
