this was a nice stay ...hotel was within walking distance of s omega nice restaurants and the staff was very helpful.....negative is that the rooms look nothing like the rooms on the advertisement...and actually the room pictured does not even have a door nob but instead a dead bolt as it is used to lure you into staying and then...

Stayed here for one night with wife and two kids. Located right next to the land mark, Parroquia de San Miguel. The room was very clean and quite modern. (No minibar though) Many people complained about noise by rining the bell of the church in the reviews of the hotel and I found that is true! Every 20 to 30...

First of all, the location of La Morada Hotel is impeccable. Since it's right off the main square, it's very easy to run back to the room for your coat, use the restroom, or drop off your souvenirs. There’s complimentary valet and the staff had great recommendations for nearby restaurants. Our Patio Suite and was spacious and modern. The room...

I have another review for this hotel which indicated I would return when back in SM. I am writing because on this occasion we stayed in the more traditional part of the hotel. Actually there have been some changes since my last visit. While in the traditional section of the hotel the rooms have all been modernized. These rooms are...

This hotel has all the modern commodities but with that old atmosphere that surrounds San Miguel, It has parking and has a great location , just steps away from the Allende Plaza, right in the center of the town, really great service, the rooms are ample and well furnished. The bathroom is ample but unfortunately the temperature tends to variate a...

To the previous reviewer who complained about the bells, all I can say is that I'm glad that we didn't heed your review. The bells were barely audible. This is a very nice, modern hotel with great bathroom, bed and is very spacious. Staff was nice and helpful. We are paying twice this price in Guanajuato this week for a...

What the description of La Morada fails to mention is the noise. It is located just off the plaza at a very busy junction where traffic is constant and noisy. It is also located next to the Cathedral whose bells ring every quarter of the hour for 24 hours and makes it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Don't...

Friendly staff, clean and spacious room, a chit for breakfast at a nearby restaurant was a plus, The church clock bell was easy to get used to. Surprised to find a selection of English channels on TV including PBS. Very good value.

We booked this hotel through TripAdvisor and that worked well. It is a great location a few steps from the square. The rooms were clean and decent and ours was large. The only thing is you MUST like bells - they go all night long. Fortunately, my husband and I have noise cancelling headphones!
